I highly recommend this hotel, it was my favourite stay during my time in Istanbul. The building is so beautiful and peaceful, yet the location is very convenient for assessing Uskudar port and therefore the rest of Istanbul. Vedat, Gulsah and the rest of the team treated me and the other guests as family, and I felt taken take of throughout my stay. They are very accommodating of requests and always available to help out. I am very much looking forward to my next stay there :)

What a Wonderful host, Gulsar who looked after me. The Hotel is absolutely beautiful and is filled with historical furnishings and kept in a spotless condition. Following checking in and whilst recovering following surgery, to checking out, all staff were very helpful and accommodating and when I was not able to physically get to the beautiful cafe on site, their staff brought the food to me. You won't be disappointed.

Of note, I booked the suite for extra space for packing- last night in Istanbul. Wanted to spend 1 night on Asian side. Checked-in, showered, unpacked including 2 full suitcases of souvenirs for reorganization. Went to cafe for dinner at 8pm and host demanded that we move immediately into a different room as they had made a mistake. She would not allow us to eat dinner first. She was unwilling to even comp our dinner for the inconvenience. She was very unorganized and inconsiderate. Ultimately, I went up to the room to pack and found email confirmation that we were in the correct room. This made for a very stressful experience. I am an MD and have travelled all over the world. This was the worst experience with a host that I can recall.

I cannot say enough good about this beautiful hotel! The owner was gracious to meet me at the front gate when I arrived at 1 am. Great room, comfortable bed, wonderful bath and shower. Great restaurant and staff, highly recommend this place!! It is a short walk to bus and metro.

Hotel with a lot of charm, the rooms are very clean, the owner is smiling and pleasant, the breakfast is very good, we had many nice stays, I recommend this hotel

We were looking for a place to stay on Asian side of Istanbul and found this old Ottoman house by chance. The location is great. Easy to get to the water side or metro. The hotel also operate a restaurant with selection of food. Situated in a nice neighborhood with everything you will need. The owner is very friendly and responsive. Highly recommended place to stay in Uskudar. 👍🏻

This place has a very special feelings and it has it's own cafe. Owner and barista here are extremely welcoming. If you need advice, owner will share with you more than what you would be expecting. Generally is above good.
