JA Hatta Fort Hotel

One of the best hotels I love to stay in.
Its location is perfect as you get to see the mountains and most of the nearby places since the lobby, rooms and restaurants are designed on an upper level.
Whenever I go there I usually have a postcard handwritten note from the GM of the hotel, welcoming me on my stay.
They have activities to keep both adults and kids engaged.
Rooms are very spacious that makes me feel homely and not in a cubicle.
Food is tasty and they have varieties for their breakfast always.

We stayed in the Terra cabin with our two kids it was the perfect glamping experience. The views are breathtaking, the food at the hotel restaurant is excellent everything we ate was so good and very child friendly. The staff are very helpful and friendly and were attentive to all our needs. Definitely recommend as a hub for getting around the area and for families.

Recreation Center and two pools, nice restaurants and food options and very helpful staff with 24/7 gym and wellness centre. Pool side lunch dinner is available and 10 mins drive to hatta dam! Kids friendly and wheel chair access. And plenty of parking available. Buffet available for dinner at Jena and gazebo has breakfast buffet! The best Mountain View’s are breath taking and a must visit for weekend get away!

I had an excellent stay at the hotel, which offered a wide range of activities to keep us entertained throughout. The staff was exceptional, providing top-notch service and making us feel welcome at every turn. A special mention goes to Danish at the Gazebo, who went above and beyond to ensure our breakfast experience was enjoyable. His warm and attentive care made a great start to each day, and his dedication truly stood out. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations with its facilities and outstanding staff. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay.

The hotel is a great option for a short vacation, especially for those seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s located in a serene area surrounded by mountains, sitting at an altitude of 1300 feet above sea level. The lush greenery enhances the freshness of the air, adding to the peaceful atmosphere.

The hotel is easily accessible from Dubai, just an hour's drive away, and is near the Omani border, making it a convenient choice for travelers from Oman looking for a quick getaway near the UAE border.

The hotel offers two swimming pools: one for families and another for adults. However, if swimming is a key factor in your choice of hotel, this might not be the best option. On the other hand, there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained, such as shooting, archery, horse riding, hiking, and climbing. There is also a games room equipped with a billiard table, table tennis, and other recreational activities, along with a mini-golf area.

While some of the activities are paid, they are reasonably priced.

The food is good, with a wide selection available in the buffet, and the hotel is close to some shops if you wish to go shopping and return easily. The staff is polite and eager to assist, but there is a noticeable shortage, particularly given the size of the hotel, which requires quicker service. Check-in and check-out were slow due to this staffing issue, and I would recommend offering an online check-in option prior to arrival. Additionally, room service tends to be slow, and we experienced delays on multiple occasions.

Despite these minor inconveniences, the hotel is still worth considering for a relaxing stay

I recently stayed at JA Resort Hatta, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The resort offers spacious and comfortable rooms with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The outdoor activities for children are fantastic, with highlights including animal feeding sessions and a lovely pool area. We also enjoyed the track to the top of the mountain, which provided a rewarding hike and beautiful panoramic views.

However, there were a few downsides to our stay. The dinner options, particularly for those on the half board plan, were somewhat limited. The set menu for vegetarians was repetitive, and there were very few choices. Additionally, while the breakfast spread was decent, it was more limited than expected, especially in terms of Indian cuisine options.

In conclusion, JA Resort Hatta is a great place for a family getaway, particularly if you're looking for a mix of relaxation and outdoor adventure. But if you're a vegetarian or looking for a wider variety of food options, especially Indian cuisine, you may find the dining experience lacking.

It was a quick getaway for us over 2 nights and well worth it. It is located in a beautiful place where you can do many activities including archery, hiking, mini golf, swimming pools, etc.
The friendly staff makes things better as always and the team at JA Fort Hatta is one of a kind.
Overall it was a great experience and could have been much better if the weather had been a bit colder.

Highly recommended . First thing is all about the service and hospitality of all the staff, they have got. I took terra cabin and rooms were neat, comfortable, well-maintained. Terra cabin is 300 m away from the reception, but buggy car is always available on call. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful ambience amidst nature's beauty.

Honestly the best place for the stay and relaxing with at most moments everything was spot on and wow. staff attitude really good and pool temperatures are not maintained well , no idea of waking up early by knocking the door and giving dental kits. No proper information about the hotel all we did was trying every where to know the timings and all. I see lot of senior citizens walking and standing in line near few activities . Things could have been better at least for them

Beautiful place. Beautiful view and well-kept landscape. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Especially the restaurant staff and the animal department staff, Mr. Arshad.
