The place is amazing and staff very friendly, would definitely recommend for a place to disconnect from the city buzz.
I am a little disappointed that the beach is not clean from all the plastic debris from the Indian Ocean on a daily basis. And outside our pool was full of cigarette butts.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was exceptional. Mr. Haris, the duty manager, and his entire team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The rooms were luxurious, the food was exquisite, and the location was perfect for our needs. The highlight, though, was undoubtedly the private pool, a true oasis of relaxation. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We're already thinking about when we can return!

Kingfisher Retreat is truly a hidden gem—where the mountains meet the ocean in the most breathtaking way. Our stay was an unforgettable mix of adventure and relaxation, from spotting turtles and gazelles at the mangrove center to winding down with a private bonfire under the stars.

A huge thank you to Eslam, who made our experience even more special with his incredible service and deep knowledge of the area. His passion for what he does really shines through, and we couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator.

The in-room dining was great, but the dinner buffet could use a little improvement. It would also be nice to see more couple-friendly activities like breakfast by the beach or a cozy movie night under the stars.

That being said, the overall experience was amazing, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

Very beautiful retreat, it is mix between camping and hotel experience, living inside a habitat to see kingfisher birds and other marine life

You will live in a fancy tent with private swimming pool, access to the beach and you will have bicycles to go around the hotel

The restaurant is great we enjoyed the tasty breakfast, dinner and the offer lunch too

Also, we have visited mangarove forest and enjoy the nature.

I have booked the premium one-bedroom tent that was recommended by the staff as it was newly added and the pool was temperature-controlled.

I would like to first thank all the staff members for the great hospitality and amazing experience. The tent was clean, spacious and no mosquitoes on site!

The pool being temperature-controlled is a huge plus during our cold winter. The food was great (In room dine) and the service was phenomenal.

I highly recommend the Kingfisher Resort for a getaway from the bustling city center, as Kalba is more on the quiet side. The beach was clean and private to the resort.

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would definitely come back again, إن شاء الله.

What an amazing experience! Everything was absolutely perfect, the hotel, the location, the staff…. Everything!! We booked a two bedroom tent, which was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed.
The private swimming pool overlooking the sea made it even more special. The food was extraordinary, and we truly appreciated the staff's support and professionalism throughout our stay.

The whole experience was great from the time of the booking, our host Eslam was in communication making sure we were greeted on arrival and offered excellent levels of assistance and prompt service throughout the stay. The beach is huge, and very quiet, we saw more crabs than humans! They have a few gazelles running around as well. Adel who drives the buggy was very friendly as were the rest of the guys. Highly recommend Kingfisher Retreat for a quiet and relaxed stay. We look forward to returning back there in the near future inshaaAllah.
