Very nice, well maintained holiday park. Located well, out of the rat race. But still close enough to everything you need on a holiday or short break. Amenities are well looked after. Nice quiet location.

We are enjoying our stay in the peaceful van area. We are here in sad circumstances and have been shown nothing but kindness and empathy.

The only good thing about the place is the location and views of the water. The female owner is rude and doesn't give clear instructions getting snappy when she had to come out because she didn't explain our keys were in an unlocked free for anyone to take cabin key.
If the service wasn't bad enough the state of the 4 cabins were horrendous! 1 room had poop dried on the wall, pubic hair in the drains and dirty linen that wasn't on the beds on arrival just slapped on the end. Another cabin had dirty oiled linen and all the rooms were dirty and dusty. The only heating was a fan heater that you could not keep going during the night for fear of a fire starting and that was if it wasn't throwing sparks or rusty pins on the plugs 😳
100% do not recommend nor will I ever stay here again. It would have been cheaper to stay elsewhere especially when it's $10/set of linen needed and it comes dirty covered in hair and lube/oil stains.

Our large extended family gathered at Edgewater and we enjoyed a long weekend together around the grassy area and anchorage room. The BBQ area was great for catering and the Sandy beach was a lovely meeting spot for the small children to play. The larger cabins were spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful views of the river too.

Please upgrade your amenities. Couldn't shower because the water was either freezing or boiling. Kids Bunks didn't even have sheets on them. Owner was quite rude. WiFi didn't work, along with most of the channels. Not worth $190 a night for a cabin...
It's a good location on the water and a big grassy field for the kids to run around on I guess.

Is a tired and run down looking park.Very disjointed park with caravan sites tucked in and surrounded by cabins . The drive thru for 1 night stops are passable but dear comoared to other parks we have stayed in .
The amenties(old but clean( are tucked away behind permanent cabins . The road surfaces in the park are in need if repair .The permanent cabins are very rundown and look unattractive .
The pool, camp kitchen and jetty area are good and are the best part of the park.

Spent a week here. 2 min walk to the wharf for some fishing. A few minutes drive to the main town centre. Flat area to camp on. Amenities were brilliant. Key code access saves having to find keys in the middle of the night. Cabins seemed to be well kept although we are in a tent so didn’t get to see inside too much. Staff were brilliant. Recommend if you want somewhere away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get to everything.

Arrived at 4:50 office was already closed collected keys from the late arrival box got to our “family” cabin whoch is no bigger then a normal sized ensuite NOT suited for a family, opened the door to be hit in the face by the smell of mould walked in and it was worse. Heating was a tiny electric fan heater i walked out locked the door and called the emergency number. We were upgraded to another cabin which was better but still no beds made had proper heating which was nice parking is absolutely ridiculous nowhere near as big as it should be. Mattress were like sleeping on a rock you can feel every spring in them not to mention the squeak that it makes.. definitely wont be booking ever again!!!

Certainly an ideal spot right on the river. Close to shops. Showing signs of age. Needs an upgrade. Pool needed a good clean. Bird aviary is a bit ordinary and needs a good clean and revamp. Uninviting to look at beautiful birds.

Horrifically bad customer service, the lady at the front office is a rude pig to put it mildly, rooms are absolutely filthy, i had a horrible experience there, I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO MY GREATEST OF ENEMIES
