I visited the restaurant twice and was left disappointed both times. I am vegan and there were hardly any options for me, but even the food that was available was not great. I tried their beans and they had nasty texture almost like mashed potatoes and very plainly flavoured. The other option I found was tomato tagliatelle, which had some lightly cooked (almost raw) courgette, peppers and tomatoes - felt more like a salad than cooked pasta. Also ordered a pizza for someone and it not only didn't look like the menu and was missing ingredients but they also put so much cheese on it that the dough didn't cook and the toppings slid off of it when we picked it up. Definitely not worth the money and not a place for vegan and vegetarian people.

The rooms are small but very clean and stylishly decorated. The AC is tops! Great location with free parking. Would recommend! Friendly personnel.

The location is great. It’s in the center of town and almost on the river. The riverside park is great. They have restaurants, playgrounds, monuments and a nice shaded walk with beautiful views of the Danube. You have a churches, a mosque and a synagogue that when renovated will be spectacular and of course the Baba Vida Fortress. The rooms were comfortable and the air conditioning top notch. Perfect for cooling down after a hot day of sightseeing. The center is clean and the people are nice. I would stay here again and if you are going to Bulgaria make sure Vidin is on your itinerary and stay at Hotel Bononia.

Great location and very good service overall. We arrived a bit too early and the personnel did their best to accommodate us regardless. The cleanliness of the rooms left a lot to be desired, however, and the food served in the restaurant wasn't at the appropriate level for a restaurant. Would recommend for a one-night stay but probably not more than that.

It's ok hotel. Too noisy from outside. The walls between the rooms are so thin that you can hear voices that's unpleasant. It's clean but could be better.
