Location, cleanliness, ease of check in, atmosphere was great, staff was super helpful. Cabins are very nice.

We stayed in the Lodge. Absolutely stunning place. We really enjoyed this quiet retreat after a day out and about. The rooms were beautiful, the view was exceptional, and the rates were affordable. We didn’t see or speak to any staff and there are no meal accommodations at this location which would have been nice; it operated more comparably to an Airbnb. Thank you for the stay, we will be returning!

It is a unique, breath taking over view and amazing accomodation with all you need even more than feel at dreamy home.
Even I want to go to tofino 10 times more, all the times I will chose again this place.

Vacation Nightmare. Do not come here. False advertising. The behaviour of the host Phil is awful. I strongly advise against staying at this resort. Save yourself the disappointment and frustration. First and last time. There are plenty of other accommodations in the area that provide genuine hospitality and a pleasant experience. Steer clear of this place unless you want your vacation ruined.

First time, last time!
You can't miss the building when you arrive, it is big and solid.
- communication just okay
- picture on the website not accurate at all
- bathroom with hair in the dated bath (not mine! 🤢)
- no fireplace in the unit as expected, then they put an electric one in a corner, behind the stairs, that was weird.
- you have to share the barbecue (no mentioned when I came)
- loud construction noise
+ Accept dog
+ The beach is nice

Beautiful room and the large bath and waterfall shower were very nice. The fireplace and large forest outlook was very cozy. We liked the straightforward check in and how close the cabins were to to walks and beaches

Great place to stay in Ucluelet. Check in and chill out. Cabins are great with most of what you need. Girls, if you like your hair dryer bring it with you. :)

Beautiful!
We booked our trip for Storm Season. Our cabin was perfect, 5 steps from the ocean and everything was fully equipped for a great vacation.
Super cozy and romantic.
We had the “Ocean pearl” private cabin on the ocean and we were very happy !
Hiking close by, beaches and food!
100% recommend this place and will be booking again!
Ps: we also bought live crab and the cabin had the crab pots and crackers for the meal !
Loved it !

My family has been to the Ukee / Tofino area annually for 6 years now. We've stayed in numerous different Airbnbs and other vacation rental properties in the area. In general, our stays have been great. There were a few things about this particular property that I would mention to anyone considering staying here:
- The pictures were not accurate on Airbnb. The furniture (in particular, the living room couch) was not the same as in the pictures. This was disappointing.
- Some of the fixtures are pretty old and outdated. The lamps don't give off much light and the overall "feel" of the unit is very dark and worn out.
- There were some cleanliness issues. A number of the dining room table chairs, and some sections of the main floor flooring, were sticky to the touch. Not sure if this was due to something having been spilled by a previous occupant, but regardless, kind of off-setting. The leather couch (as mentioned, NOT the one that's shown in the pictures of the listing) had some food particles / smears on it. The hot tub had quite a few strands of long hair left behind, both on the sides (arm rest areas) on the hot tub ledge, and also in the tub water itself. For two days we would pull a good dozen hair out of the water during our hot tub sessions.......
- The BBQ, which deserves its own bullet-point here, needs to be thrown in the garbage. It's rusty. The tank is rusty. The paint is peeling. The grill itself didn't appear to have been cleaned or scraped. Thankfully we don't normally use a BBQ when we're on vacation, but even if we did, we certainly would not have used this one.
- The unit smelled a bit strange. I realize these are "cottage" inspired units, but there was definitely a strong musty type odour. We ended up needing to keep the windows open, pretty much the entire time we were there. This was fine because it's summer, but I suspect this would be an issue in the winter.
- There were plenty of drywall mud patchings that hadn't been finished. I get it that sometimes guests cause damage and it can't be fixed during a quick turn-around (a guest is checking out the same day a new guest is checking in), but none the less.....
- Parking is a problem. We stayed for four nights, Friday to Tuesday. On the weekend, when the resort is busy, you can find yourself in a situation where there is no parking available. The lot is rather small, and borders a public parking area where there is public beach access. We had a smaller car, so we were able to squeeze it into a spot (which I don't think was actually a "parking spot".....), but this was pretty disappointing. When you pay a certain amount for accommodations, you don't expect to have to roll the dice on parking availability.
- Value isn't there. I realize that no where does this listing state "luxury accommodations", but it certainly borders on luxury pricing. My family has stayed in "luxury accommodations" in the area, numerous times, and for ~15% more than what we paid here, it would have been well worth the upgrade. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we made our reservations later than we wanted to, and there wasn't a lot of choice left.
That all said, it wasn't completely a bad experience. Ironically, the two bathrooms were meticulously clean - easily the cleanest rooms in the unit. Given the other issues, we were pleasantly surprised about this. The washer and dryer seem "like new", so that was great as well. Early and proactive communication with the staff running the Airbnb listing was great, absolutely no complaints there. WiFi was stellar, not a single issue. The beds, while seemingly dated and springy, are actually pretty comfortable and we all slept very well. The views are stunning - both from the deck and the 2min walk down to the beach and water. I suspect the views are why this resort can ask the pricing that they do.
To conclude - Personally, we wouldn't recommend
