Very comfortable room, large bathroom, excellent cleaning. There are no toiletries, only soap in the dispensers. There is no safe. Very courteous staff. Really nice place. Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, tasty and plentiful breakfast. With fresh waffles! And prosecco. There are small paper bags in every room. If you are caring for the planet, you'll get a small reward. Nice idea! Works better then " leave your towel on the floor" :)

The Detmolder Hof is one of the best addresses when it comes to accommodation in Detmold. They have been around since… I don’t know when, but my grandfather used to take us there for dinner when we were visiting and even my parents celebrated their wedding there in 1972. I loved it—so much that I want to keep it secret and not post a review! I had a top floor room with vaulted ceiling and loft and kitchenette. It was immaculate and very comfortable—andwonderful. In a fantastic location in town. Breakfast was wonderful as well. Really loved my stay in Detmold.

Historic Building with modern interior This property offers some more hotel-room style rooms, but I stayed in a nicely furnished and somewhat spacious appartment-type accomodation in the old town of Detmold.

The accommodation was really clean and I was able to rest comfortably. In particular, it was nice to be able to cook and eat as there are various kitchen tools in the hotel.

Great renovated house where you can tell that a lot of value was placed on quality. Everything is top notch here. Centrally located and still very quiet. Parking space can also be booked. Highly Recommended.
