Even though we are very close by, we were in this restaurant yesterday by chance. The food was very good and plentiful. The salad buffet was gigantic and the atmosphere was absolutely informal. Very friendly and attentive service.
Since we didn't have a reservation, we were given a place at the regulars' table. It was so wonderfully uncomplicated and we felt like we had come here forever. Dear team, keep it up...we'll be back.

Yesterday we spontaneously went to the Gasthaus Oberer Wirt after being in the area and reading the many exceptionally good reviews and we can only agree. The food and service were fantastic!
I haven't eaten such a delicious duck for a long time and my husband was blown away by his roast venison. We left the restaurant happy and definitely want to come back 😄.

We were there for dinner yesterday and were pleasantly surprised! 🤗 The food was super tasty, with large portions. Prices are also fair. Every month there is a different motto, which we think is a really good idea (it's really cool that you can also see what to expect in the next few months on the homepage). Super nice boss who was really easy to talk to, thanks again for all the information, it was really interesting!
And of course not to forget the tomcat Charlie, who was very cuddly and very sweet 🐈⬛
Otherwise, all the best for the future and we'll definitely see each other again! :)

The dining room and terrace are cozy, you feel very comfortable. It's best to reserve a table in advance as there aren't too many seats.
Food and drinks are very good, had crusty roast with dumplings, schnitzel with fries. Everything tasted great. The fries also have to be highlighted, as they are not the usual thin but steakhouse fries. Delicious. Very good value for money.

We were passing through on the A9, wanted to eat well and took a spontaneous little detour, which was definitely worth it. Super tasty food at good prices and very nice hospitality. Next time we have time, we'll stop there again.

We were there on New Year's Eve 2023 with 8 people. The buffet was extensive and very good and was always refilled. There was something tasty for everyone. We will definitely come back next year.
