Reviews
Everything ok
Great hotel. Nice breakfast
The apartment building I was in smelled so musty and of smoke that I could barely breathe the first night. The bed was as hard as a rock and killed my back. There was no coffee in my room, which definitely felt more like an apartment, and it looked like people were living in some of the units full time (the balconies had furniture, plants, etc.). We didn't see any housekeeping services while there.
I paid to stay at a hotel and felt like I was forced to stay in another location, which was so inconvenient, we didn't even bother grabbing the free breakfast on our second morning because we didn't feel like walking or driving to the actual hotel. They need to advertise that you might be placed in a nearby apartment.
The room is very nicely furnished, cozy, and well heated (it's winter). Everything was clean and well arranged.
I recommend this hotel.

I can’t say much on the personnel as you encounter more or less the same inexpressive people all around and I have no problem with that. But paying for a room like looks like an old motel room out of an horror movie it was not what I expected. There was a dead bird on the balcony on our floor not our room and it was never removed. It seems they don’t clean the common areas as often as they should. Breakfast for 18€ per person seems a bit high but you have the option not to take it so I went to the supermarket and bought what we needed and cooked in the kitchenette.
Building is located in a beautiful remote location with accesible public transportation but it’s convenient to have a car. There are a couple of restaurants nearby and an Edeka supermarket. Wifi as others have stated is poor. So if you are planning on working while staying make sure you address this with the front desk or call in advance prior to making the reservation. Overall it served its purpose this time but I won’t be staying here again. Try the Dorint a few miles down the road, you’ll thank me later.
