Jaz Dar El Madina

We just spent 2 wonderful weeks in Madina. Our first time there, but probably our 20th time in Egypt.
It's a lovely little hotel in the middle of the huge cluster of many JAZ hotels. While Madina is small, cosy and intimate, the JAZ conglomeration is huge! The hotel is not directly on the beach, but it is literally a 4 minute walk to get to the reserved beach section of the hotel. There are also stalls on the beach that serve drinks, pizza (BTW really good!), yummy waffles and crepes etc.
As we are divers, we spent a good part of the holiday at the Coraya Divers dive centre - this is only a 3 minute walk away, so very handy.
The food in Madina's main restaurant is wonderful - we really enjoyed it. We always found many things that we liked very much. What we found a pity was that there wasn't more Egyptian food either on the buffet, or more often Egyptian-themed evenings. When we go to Italy, we usually eat Italian food. When we go to Spain, we want to eat Spanish specialities. When we go to Egypt, we want to enjoy the fantastic Egyptian food, which we don't think is offered enough. For example, hummus, baba ganoush and tahini should be buffet staples in my opinion :-).
There are 3 speciality restaurants that are included in the all-inclusive package. We went to the oriental Sofra - which was really amazing. We didn't try the other restaurants although we heard from others that they are also excellent.
The waiters are so friendly and helpful, not pushy, and we had some lovely conversations getting to know them.
The reception staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly - probably the nicest Egyptian welcome we've experienced in a long time.
The rooms are beautiful, spacious and modern.
We landed in Marsa Alam (RMF) and the hotel is an easy 10 minute drive away - we heard a plane fly overhead maybe once a day, if that.
All in all a great holiday and can highly recommend Madina.

This is absolutely amazing! It’s beautiful and the staff is the best ever! Everyone is so kind and they are so funny😂 I will really miss them and will be back, can’t wait!

Great stay at Jaz dar el Madina

We had a great stay in october at dar el madina The staf, the animatieteam are the best. They do everything to make your vacation great. What a great hotel Lots of shows, great food, nice swimmingpool and close to the sea. With a fantastisc divingcentre

Great hotel! Was our first time and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The staff was amazing. Everyone very helpful, always friendly and with a smile, no matter how hot or how many guests.It was great. Room service always left a surprise. They made us feel very special. Everyone of the animation team was absolutely fun talking to. They had an engaging way of inviting to the activities, and it was fun.

I went to Egypt for the first time, together with my son,
Not for the last time!
Perfect hotel, more than perfect service.
Ask anything and they will arrange it.
Especially Mohammed , from the desk.
The room, bed etc ,… perfect!
And because it's a small hotel , nice and easy.
And always place enough at the pool and beach.
With an extreme view. The coral rif is extreme pretty.
So overal a 9+

Dinner at Dar Elmadina was an unforgettable experience! The chef deserves a huge round of applause - BRAVO! The taste, quantity, and quality of the food were simply amazing. Every dish was a masterpiece, and we savored every bite.

The dinner was truly exceptional, and we left the table feeling delighted and satisfied. The chef's skill and creativity are evident in every dish, and the presentation was impressive.

If you're a foodie or just looking for a fantastic dining experience, look no further! Jaz Dar El Madina restaurant is a must-visit. We can't wait to come back and indulge again!

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff many thanks to Mr Yousry , Abd Allah from reception and the great chef Moustafa Fouad , lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish. Food was v.good
great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay.
Cons:
The animation team needs some improvement you will not feel there presence
The show was regular but to be honest the pharonic show was great
It would be better if they replace Despenser at the gym for bottles of water to make it easier to train and they can recycle it
Finally, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future

My affection for Jaz Hotels grows stronger with each visit. Our recent stay was delightful, marked by quality time spent with family and friends. We were captivated by the stunning views and the pristine beach, which perfectly accommodates both swimming and snorkeling enthusiasts. The variety of food and beverages was impressive, readily available at all times. The staff's proactive and friendly service enhanced our experience; their presence was comforting, always ready to assist without needing to be asked. Our rooms were cozy and immaculately maintained, welcoming us with a personalized message and a platter upon arrival. A major highlight was the water park, thrilling for both kids and adults alike. The animation team was exceptionally engaging, ensuring our children were entertained with great care and fun. As we prepared to leave, the thoughtful gesture of providing lunchboxes and souvenirs for the children was deeply appreciated. A special thanks to Mr. Ali Mohamed for his effortless assistance throughout our stay. Heartfelt thanks to the Jaz family for another memorable experience.
