My absolutely favorite spot in Dahab!
Chill vibes at Sindbad Camp! Clean rooms with cool air A/C, right next to the sea. Super relaxed - quiet nights and cool people. Friendly staff, especially Hassan & Salama, they are the best. Food is yummy, and prices are easy on the wallet. Perfect for nature lovers, solo travelers and budget travelers who want to ditch the phone and explore Dahab.

Simpel Bedouin rooms in a lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff. See sight. And an authentic ‘ harisha’’ to sit together with the other guests.

Sindbad is a very friendly hostel, with an amazing location in Dahab. With a very affordable price, Sindbad camp has multiple cozy areas to chill, share (almost exclusively) with its residents, read, eat… next to a shared kitchen where you can either buy meals or cook your own. Food can be stored in the provided shared fridges.

It’s located in lighthouse, one of the best areas in Dahab, and right in front of the sea. The experience of falling asleep to the sound of the sea and the moonlight is already worth the stay.

Moreover, it’s crew is always willing to help you and provide you with even some diving material if needed.

I have had an amazing experience with them. I was always able to contact them through mail and adjusting to my change of plans — which may occur often in Dahab 😁

The Camp is really nice. Beautiful location at the beach and a lot of space with hammocks, bedouin rugs and shade to relax. The rooms are small and simple but the bed is comfey.
I can only give 4 stars because there was something like a compressor making loud noise every now and then even in the middle of the night.
But I would definitely come back again just in another room ;)

Perfect location close to lighthouse bay and directly at the sea. Very quiet atmosphere, good to relax and be for yourself. Nice common areas with hammocs and a lot of sitting areas, also to see the beautiful sunrise over the sea. The single rooms are very basic with few light. The suit on the top of the kitchen with its own terrace is beautiful and romantic. Reservation of the room was mostly only possible from day to day because none of the staff was completely sure about which room is getting free when, but staff was still very helpful, respectful and friendly and quite flexible about the rooms, so I was able to stay a whole week even though the hostel was nearly fully booked and I didn't reserve on time. Good breakfast available.

Just wanted to say extra thanks to Marcel, the team of Sindbad and all the friends I made here. It was my first one in Dahab (and I’m sure won’t be the last one) and I feel super lucky to get to stay at Sindbad. Staying here is one of the reasons I loved it so much. The beauty of the place, the friendliness of the people, it’s something special. There is a feeling of warmth and camaraderie here at the camp. There was a longing for that in my life and I’m so happy I found it here.
On a more practical note, as someone more used to generic hotels, I was impressed by how well looked after the camp was, clean bed linen, comfy mattresses, clean bathrooms and outside areas.
They serve great food. I absolutely loved their hummus. 10/10. That's an impressive score from a hummus connoisseur like me.
Sindbad camp, you’ve been just what I needed. Thank you for having me. You are now firmly on the list of places I would return to again and again.

It is a lovely place calm and confortable. I have been there several times. The staff are very freindly love u allllll?????

Charming and relaxing and I met some great people there. Rooms are super basic with prices to follow. Shared toilets and showers are clean (but it would be great with soap to wash your hands...). Breakfast is good too.
