Parador de Hotel
Cuenca, Subida a San Pablo, s/n 🧭 Map
Pool: Pool
Breakfast was at 8-11 so they allowed us to have our breakfast for our stay instead of having it the next day, as we had an early train to catch the next day. Taxi to and from the hotel and train station was a flat €12
This is a hotel converted from a monastery. It is both ancient and elegant, clean and convenient. You will face the mountains when you go out. You will see different colors of the mountains at different times of the day
Parador de Cuenca is a destination in itself. The building was once the monastery of San Pablo built in 1523. It stands picturesquely across the gorge from the Old Town and connected to it by the Puente de San Pablo
A hotel I personally like very much. It was converted from a medieval monastery. It is in a great location and is a perfect attraction in itself. I highly recommend it.
It took some time to be served with a drink and when we did get some food the next course came before we were ready. In contrast the breakfast staff were lovely
Right across are the Casas Colgadas. We arrived really early, and the staff were kind enough to let us leave our luggage so we can go around

Breakfast was fabulous! What was even better was that you could eat it on the terrace/in your room. Facilities were great, lovely garden and pool, comfortable, big bed and lots more.
I loved the atmosphere—the smell of pine trees, and how quiet and serene the place is. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. In hindsight, two days wasn’t enough; I’d love to stay longer next time
If it were warmer, one can enjoy the private pool as well. Fabulous breakfast served to the room
One of the highlight of our roundtrip through Spain. A beautiful place, spacious, private, great bathroom, fantastic bed, a beautifully presented and well filled breakfast. They know what having guests mean
Lovely room with a jacuzzi in a quiet setting. Loved the breakfast in the room!
Flexible host with regards to arrival time, good communication by WhatsApp

The breakfast buffet is abundant. Meat, cheese, eggs, fruits, breads, pastries, various juices. Also had yogurt, cereals, and a fancy self serve coffee machine that makes espresso, cappuccino, and coffee with milk.
Such good value. 2 nights in an executive room for €81. Can't beat it. It's in the new part of town but a 5-10 minute bus ride gets you to the Cathedral. Some great eateries locally too.
Very clean, comfortable and nice hotel. A bit far from center and citysights. But personel is very kind and helpful to show interesting places and satisfy all your needs.
The location is spectacular because it is near a McDonald's where you can eat. Also is near the center. Rooms are also ok with a huge bathroom and 1 big bed and 1 smaller bed. The service could be better
Clean hotel, nice staff, even though we checked in at 12:30am at night! Great prices. Located outside Cuenca old town but free parking onsite (I think there’s also paid covered parking as well).
Nice stopover on way back to Costa Blanca.Very clean environment and garage parking (fee!) 2nd time here!

Cuenca, Ronda de San José, 1 🧭 Map
Very clean, good service, TV has CCTV 4. There is bus No. 1 from the train station to the hotel directly. Bus No. 1 can also go directly to the central square of the ancient city.
Very comfortable stay for an overnight at Cuenca. Although the room is small, it is very clean, with modern bathroom fittings, plushy towels and a firm mattress
The price/performance ratio is very high. If you park in the underground garage, it costs 15 euros a night. The parking lot is a bit small and has voice-activated lights, which is a bit scary hahahahaha
The location is far (with an uphill walk) to the old town and tourist spots, however if one is just looking for a comfy night stay along the mainstreet this is a perfect location
The bed is a little firm, but it's very comfortable to sleep on!
The front desk service is very enthusiastic and enthusiastic, and I feel the enthusiasm of Spain!
Private parking is available underground for a fee, however free parking is easily available along the roadside in front of the hotel

Cuenca, Avenida San Ignacio de Loyola, 9 🧭 Map
Had a lovely stay here. Breakfast was good, clean room and towels everyday. Can walk to the Cathedral and old town.
On the other hand it is a bit far away from the historical center and other sites that may be of interest and public transport is some hundred meters away, too
Short bus ride or good uphill walk to old town. Don't forget to go to do a kayak on the river or drive out to Ciudad encantada. Tough bike route there too with easy start
Hotel with ample and clean rooms equipped with air conditioning and solar protection. One can take profit and take meals in the same hotel on a nice terrace
There is no electric kettle, and what's even worse is that it is better to boil water with your own electric kettle. The boiled tap water is full of suspended particles, so I dare not drink it
The hotel is located close to a park with the local river that may be used for a bath in summer. There is little traffic in the surroundings making it a good destination to relax and recover

Cuenca, San Pedro, 12 🧭 Map
Stayed at this hotel for a day, there were no problems for the entire period. You can also ask the administrator for all the necessary additional dishes. And all this at any time of the day, the hotel is open 24 hours
Loved the corner room I stayed, the views were nice to wake up to. I wouldn't necessarily call it 4* hotel, but character, location, cleanliness and the staff definitely make it worth the price. Recommend it.
What can I say? The best hotel stay I’ve ever had. The staff made it feel like home, everyday they remembered our names and smiled and made us feel so special. The rooms are so antique and gorgeous, very Spaniard style
We made incredible friends at this hotel and want to stay here every time we go back to Cuenca. You can walk absolutely everywhere and this city is so amazing, I have never seen a place like this
Great staff! Nice room, very cozy and spacious. There is a refrigerator, which was very important for us. The bathroom is also large enough, there are towels and slippers
Fabulous hotel with comfortable, clean and well furnished rooms. I loved the wooden beam roofs and the fact that it’s a refurbished convent from the 17th century.
