Very very overrated. Or air conditioning didn’t work and they first promised to change our room but never did. The resort is 3 star at best, but truly comparable to some 2 star hotels. Food was mediocre. We had a miserable time there.

Very poor service, but they don't have any staff. They didn't give us the apartment until 9:00 PM, and without any explanation. I don't recommend it at all.

Very close to some beautiful beaches. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is amazing, especially the nightly buffet.

The hotel was nice and the staff were helpful. We booked this for a few days in October half term and checked the website and ******* information. It did not mention that not only was there only one place to eat in the hotel, the majority of the immediate area was “closed” and out of season. As this was a short trip, we were specifically looking for somewhere where we didn’t have to travel far. This was not made clear on the website prior to booking and we were therefore a bit surprised and disappointed

When they started it must have been great. But now the carpet on every floor looks terrible. Also in the elevator there are parts missing and unpainted.
In general it would need an update.
Regarding the opening times of the restaurant in the morning and evening: Be more strickt at the time. 19:45 is 19:45 and for us from Northern Europe that is late and we just want to eat. Same at breakfast. just open the dor at the correct time. You can walk around but should not be necessary.
For the rest the staff do their best but it needs a renovation.

Easy access to the beach, great pools and excellent breakfast. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom!

La Costa Resort is one of the few family hotels in the Costa Brava. It has a large pool where my kids enjoyed playing many hours every day, however, the pool area needs a lot of work. There are many loose stones which causes many cuts and scrapes on my kids feet, knees and toes. I have written some pros and cons Pros: - Stayed in Junior Suite with Pool view. Good size, basic and clean room. The bathrooms can use an upgrade. They are very dated but functioned well. - Friendly cleaning staff and most reception staff - beautiful nature and grounds - Golf facilities were excellent, however not enough shaded bays on the driving range and only of them had the elevated golf mat with tee - ping pong table, tennis and paddle facilities - Cons: AC was not working well. I had to had an engineer come twice, however, the hotel staff were prompt to respond. Having to pay for sun beds at the beach despite staying at the hotel no daily water bottles in the room no kettle or coffee machine in the room expensive food at the hotel restaurants bikes were too expensive to rent and minimum rental is 4 hours, please offer shorter rental.

The rooms seem untouched since the 90s, the cleaning service is subpar, and the staff's behavior is highly questionable. The food quality and service are disappointing for a supposed 4-star establishment. If I ever return to Costa Brava, it will only be for a brief visit, as this hotel lacks the charm and hospitality that would make me want to stay longer. In my opinion, this hotel deserves no more than 2 stars, and that's being generous!"

Great hotel to spend a few days. Good facilities, especially the swimming pools. Very friendly and attentive staff.
