Amazing food, specially the octopus "lava" style! Waiters were beyond supernice. Will come back for the taste the special menu.

Well if you want to feel like you are in paradise this is the place to go! The hotel is nestled in between banana plantations so you immediately feel like you are in a secluded oasis. The hotel is so, so interesting, it is full of artwork from the 17th and 18th century, it has numerous cozy little nooks and crannies and the walk to the swimming pool is like walking through a tropical forest but it’s the staff that really put the icing on the cake. Every single member of staff is so cheerful and helpful. They treat you like a princess/prince throughout your stay. There are also numerous thoughtful gestures during your stay such as; complimentary glass of champagne on arrival, small gifts delivered to your room, remembering your likes/dislikes etc. Just cannot fault the place. An extremely memorable stay.

The food was amazing and the service also he was verry kind and would help us with translating also a verry Razonable price I would go there more often

Very nice view, peaceful surrounded by all of the banana plants La Palma offers, the food was really nice and the price was good for what you got.

We decided to take a trip from Tenerife to La Palma. See this vulcanic island. So we looked up a nice place to stay. Hotel Hacienda De Abajo was highly recommended and it stood up for everything. Nice accommodation, friendly staff and a lovely garden and facilities. The restaurant is one of the best on the island. So we were very satisfied and happy. We will be back.

A fascinating dinner, impeccable service from Sascha, attentive at all times, with magnificent service, and succulent dishes. We ordered caramelized foie, cucumber carpaccio, textured cod with onion, and turbot with kimchi sauce

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights whilst attending Starmus La Palma. We had a wonderful experience, with the most personal attention from all the staff, particularly Jose and Marta, from the moment we checked in until we left. We enjoyed breakfast and a fabulous evening meal in the restaurant with excellent service. Known as a historic establishment set in a tropical garden, we chose this due to the excellent reviews which set the scene for our entry into a bygone age. Portraits and paintings adorn the walls together with porcelain vases, antique furniture and a sunken bath in our spotlessly clean room. This is certainly an exclusive place, almost a museum, with a small swimming pool and tranquil surroundings, yet with easy access to the small town of Tazacorte. Our sincere thanks to all who make this such a special place and our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

The genuine historical guesthouse located in the green surroundings. Nice swimming pool and decent gourmet restaurant. The rooms are varied in terms of climate and views. The first one we got, was too dim, the second sunny and with nice view from balcony. Since there are many antiques on the equipment of this entity, not everything is well-functioning, but this this the price to be paid for uniqueness. The staff was very helpful and polite, but breakfast bit disappointing. Expensive place.

Beautiful hotel located in the middle of the banana fields, yet in Tazacorte. Very friendly staff, thanks to Marta for the great welcome and farewell, as well as to Linda (Italian dinner waitress, not 100% sure of her name) for the personalized dinner service. Dinner was very good (just missing some supervision and service basics such as water, wine and bread service). Interesting experience, however quite on the pricey side for La Palma.
