Large brand new holiday apartment near Ähtäri Zoon and Mesikämmenen 😁

Ähtäri is a hidden gem with so many options for vacation! Zoo with pandas, golf, tennis, padel, flowpark, hunting, fishing, boating etc. And naava resort is the premium place for a stay. Beautiful cabins by the lake and in the nature! So good we lived here for 5 months during corona pandwmic and couldnt be happier!

We stayed in a villa called Laaka. Overall clean and high quality. Towels and bed linen on behalf of the house. Good beds, sauna and laundry facilities. The one-star drip does not change the hot tub water after each guest, and the oven, cooker hood and grill had not been cleaned for a long time. In addition, you should be prepared for the fact that on weekends there is always a night-long party going...

We spent a nice 5 nights here and I can say that it was as good as expected. The property has all the basic neccessities you need to spend your time here even with small children. The owner (Ari) waited for us to hand ower the keys and show around and was there over phone or by person if we needed anything. We also rented out the hot tub which was a well worth the extra price. The owners are very accomodating. The place was beautiful, quiet and comfortable to stay with. It is recommended for summer vacation specially it is near the lake.

Very cosy place, good breakfast

A good and clean place to stay in a farm tourism place. We stay in the main building on the second floor. Toilet in the corridor, shower downstairs or on the beach, smoke sauna in the building. Clean inside and around the yard. There were also sheep. Paid breakfast (€10)

Extremely nice place to stay. Sauna, big lake and excellent breakfast made our staying even more pleasant.

The houses are very warm and have mosquito nets. I don’t know why there are ONLY 3.2, since there is also Frisbee golf and golf beds, soft and warm, as for me 5-5.

We stayed a few summers ago with a dog, very comfortable cottages for a weekend stay and had a lot of fun :) Everything worked as it should.

Comfortably spacious. Nice opportunities with children, the refrigerator Plus and the car can be found next to the cottage. Three stars for the reason that when the soundproofing of the cottage is not good, what is happening outside belongs inside really well. the door does not close properly, other than by pressing from the outside with the foot from below. Moreover, there are no times of silence...

Great place with love and passion to animals. You can pet and feed animals. The reindeers are just next to you.

Beautiful place with cozy rooms and very quiet surroundings! I had a sizeable fridge and a microwave in mine plus all the cutlery and plates etc. I might need. The animals outside are a pleasant add on to the experience. The staff is friendly and considerate. Only thing that bugged me was the fact that you have to bring your own towels and linens to certain rooms or else you will have to pay to use...

For family with children it is ok , for a couple WITH NO CHILDREN a no go , not the best choice , breakfast was ok ....

Easy to find, no need to drive an infinitely long cart path. Clear signs in the courtyard of the main building. Arriving, picking up & paying for the keys was easy and smooth. Cottages all over Finland have been rented with Kalaporuka for the last 6 years and this has been the only place we have come to again, as desired by all members!

Awesome setting! The only thing that annoyed was that despite the very remote location, there was a neighbor's cottage REALLY close, which caused a bit of annoyance.

We stayed in a smaller villa which is really compact but perfectly fine for us and our 2 year old son. We loved the sauna in combination with the lake. The veranda ia perfect for every weather. Everything was nice and clean and well thought of. Definitely recommended!

Strong recommendation! Really great setting, nothing was needed that wasn't part of the equipment. Excellent and friendly service crowned our visit. Expectations were greatly exceeded!

Great place, clean cottages, really good sauna and friendly service and really everything was worth five stars! The cottages have stylish décor, Pentik tableware and Marimekko towels. The dishwasher, washing machine and grill as well as our own rowing boat were a nice addition, Reetta made sure many times that we enjoyed it and everything was ok. A great recommendation for anyone!

A great place as a whole! Clean, order well, in a heated sauna, it is nice to visit when you want. The bottom of the bathing site is not the best (soon after the beach muddy), but at least we (children) have not hampered.
