Where to stay in Kalajoki

The hotel offers nice designed rooms with balcony and sea view, directly located at the beach. Access to the Spa is included in the room rate and breakfast was beautiful with large choice of differen foods. Pretty modern neighborhood, which gives a relaxing feeling. We really enjoyed our short stay. (Tip: try the brand new adventure minigolf nearby. It's really fun)

Stayed here for one night on our way to Inari. Normally we tend to book via Airbnb, but decided it would be lovely to have a bit more comfort this time. So we had a short but great time here. The staff is nice, the breakfast ok, the hotel pool was a bonus.

The view was amazing and worth to see. Room was clean and comfortable. Service in the restaurant was beyond horrible, sorry to say.

The rooms are great with a great view of the beach and a big refrigerator and a microwave. The saunas are decent. The breakfast could be better.

Spectacular view to the horizon. I recommend seafood pizza after having one, but based on that I would happily pick any other dish from the menu.

The restaurant is selling the view, not for food. Fish and chip for 12.80€! But, it is not worth it because 4 finger fish sticks with salty ready-made chips made me regretted. Will never go back this place again.

I loved the appartment rooms, with gorgeous view and all the needed equipment for family life, restaurant staff was nice and it was suprisingly good food also for vegans. This “holiday village” in Kalajoki is really one of a kind, with so many different services for tourists.

Nice place in winter but better in summer

Everything was good 👍🏻 except the breakfast time 07:00am - 09:30am You don’t have time to enjoy your breakfast and the elevator 🛗 working time 🤦🏻‍♂️

Uppdate 07 september 2023: This time my experience is much better, but still missing some essential stuff at my room , i like to have a cup of tea in the evening but there was no little in the room. I got a room with a sea view which is great view. Staff are kind and helpful. Good Breakfast. 2022: Sorry that my experience was bad during my stay at this hotel. For example, the mini bar is EMPTY 😮....

After moving to a much better room our stay was excellent

Very beautiful location. New nice building - like an apartment. We had a freezer in the room. Very big and clean room. The balcony was closed with classes and we loved that (the dogs enjoyed the stay). Parking place free of charge, lots of room to walk (with dogs) on the beach area and in the woods. Good breakfast.

The first hotel in Kalajoki dunes, built in the 1970s. The hotel is somewhat worn out but is a nice memory lane to 1970s design. The best part is still the view from especially the terrace: you can watch the Kalajoki dunes and the sea and the view really is 180 degrees. If you are not staying in the hotel, you can grab a drink at the bar and visit the terrace for the spectacular view.

The view of the ocean was outstanding the rooms where god but the breakfast could be improved. There where also sings the hotels was getting old but there is a new side where you can stay.

There's an old side and the new side were staying on the old side. It was pretty good and elegant for the price but a bit of some cracks on the walls and other signs it's older. The hallway to the room was also a very dim basement hallway with pipes. but the location of the hotel is seriously beautiful. 3/5 solid choice

Basic hotel literary on the beach rooms are bit old decorated but over all ok breakfast basic and price is ok,don't expect alot from this accommodation,if you are fussy and you want lux go next door to sannta hotel resort.

Vastasi kuvausta. Kaikki tarpeellinen löytyi. Sijainti kauempana keskuksesta, mutta ihanan rauhallinen ja rannan suhteen kiva. Asiakaspalvelu oli erinomaista, joustoa löytyi luovutuksen suhteen (keikka alkoi merisärkillä vasta klo 1.30, joten luovutus klo 14 tuli tarpeeseen) ja kiva kohtaaminen avainta hakiessa ja palauttaessa.

Great service, great variety of activities to do with bigger or smaller group and very cozy pub where to sit to relax afterwards.

A good wedding venue as long as you can clean yourself. Beware of the man of Helsinki, he knows everything ...

The room was nice and clean. But the resturant was the big surprise. The food was amazing, the flavors was so right together and I was i heaven.

This should really be two different grades. One for the rooms (2) and one for the restaurant (5). The rooms aren't that exiting, doesn't seem to be updated for some time. The restaurant on the other hand surprised us with very high class food from predominantly local sources. Didn't expect this 😀
