Hotels on first line in Almirida

Not spoilt for choice but plenty for whatever your tastes. Pool area is great always get a bed. But we mostly went to the beach. There’s a car hire place nearby and a trip to Chania Old Town is an absolute must do

The beach is a cove never over crowded and the water is crystal clear and shallow for a long way. Plenty of little shops and places to eat out in this little village. Breakfast in the hotel was good, tasty

The design of the hotel is excellent, it is not too large, and set our perfectly around the pool, which was beautiful to swim or relax in, in its warm but cooling waters

This was one of many hotels we looked at but after so many positive reviews about the hotel and the staff it was a no brainer to book and we weren’t disappointed

Our room was spotlessly clean, extremely comfy beds & pillows and as we were in an end room (316) we had the most fabulous view of the mountains, pool and sea! Fresh bottled water daily as well which was a bonus! I will say that the shower was wonderful, the only little niggle being I couldn’t reach the high bathroom window to open it to let the steam out

The staff go out of their way to help you always with a friendly smile. The hotel is clean and adults only makes it a bonus. It’s a 10 second walk from the beach front

Right next to the beach and such an ideal location for a relaxing holiday. Cleanliness is a very important thing for me and they met and exceeded all my expectations, thoroughly cleaning everyday

Food was fantastic and they had a variety of different foods giving us a taste of the Greek cuisine and foods available for all pallets, there is something for everyone! We will definitely be returning, as someone who has stayed in a fair amount of hotels this is by far one the best experiences

There's nothing I would change about our stay at Almyrida Residence. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the town. Our room was spotless, comfortable and modern

Staff is beyond friendly and extremely helpful and made us feel welcome and eager to visit again

There are also options like pancakes, waffles, and omelets made to order, which is a nice touch, but overall, the quality could be better

Additionally, the safe in my room wasn’t working, which was a bit inconvenient. The breakfast buffet was mediocre at best

However you are less than a minute away from the strip to get to the beach, shops and restaurants. The nearest supermarket is also just a 3 minute walk away. The cute little house was cozy and well decorated

As nobody rented the main house during our stay he said it was fine to use the clothesline and main patio. We really enjoyed our morning coffee on the little terrace outside the door and overall feel of the property

The bed was comfortable and water pressure good. It is a fairly steep staircase to the bedroom but nothing we couldn’t handle. Our host gave us a warm welcome and checked in with us half way through the stay

We stayed at the little windmill roundhouse and it was fantastic. It was exactly what we hoped for. You get the full Cretan vibe with the blue and white building with a garden in midst of an olive grove

We can very much recommend it!

The Village with many restaurants, cafes and shops is a 10 minute walk and the beaches are even closer. An ideal family location satisfying all 3 generations in our party

I’m reticent to review SK Place as has become our 2nd home for late half terms. Katerina runs an impeccable operation, benefiting from three amazingly appointed luxury villas designed by herself and husband

The owners have done a wonderful job creating three superbly appointed villas (we had a look round the other two) that have breathtaking westerly views and are located within a really short stroll from Almyrida which offers warm clear/clean sea, sandy beaches and a plenty of restaurants , tavernas etc

Our other daughter and her partner enjoyed the pool and sea swimming ‍♀️. We read, ate, drank and relaxed Plenty of sun and areas of shade to fully relax. Beautiful fish restaurants as well as a barbecue

Wonderful villa, superbly appointed, beautiful pool with attentive owners for whom nothing is too much trouble. There is no downside to this villa. Gentle downhill stroll to a variety of lovely restaurants and shops.

We had an amazing time the villa is so luxurious. We spent most of the week round the fabulous pool relaxing. Katerina and the team are amazing

Kitchen-living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Veranda overlooking the sea, a small patio with sun loungers and an umbrella. Air conditioners in every bedroom. The kitchen has enough utensils for a large company

Very cozy house, two rooms with air conditioning, living room, and spacious and well-kept outdoor areas. Very good sea views allow you to relax having breakfast or a drink

There are 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds (hard mattress, this was very important to us). You can hear the waves if you sleep with the window open. There is a nice little beach with pebbles close to the villa

Stone beach a few meters away, better for our taste than the more distant sandy ones, it allows diving and enjoying

Conveniently not embarrassingly close to the beach. Two bedrooms living room with kitchenette well equipped. Taverns and restaurants 10 mins walk. Peacefully, the perfect place to relax

Clean, tidy, comfortable. Well equipped for self-catering and good air-conditioning. TV worked after help from the Villa Plus rep. Great pool and pool area. Plenty of room for our group of 5.

We really, really enjoyed our stay at your wonderfully located villa! The sea view is terrific and its a pleasure to enjoy the afternoons in the pool! We had enough space for the five of us, your bathrooms are made state of the art and the garden is in perfect state and nicely arranged

The boys made good use of the gym equipment and pool table and we all loved the pool! We had the choice of three Greek restaurants just a very short walk (all lovely, friendly and generous) one Italian (excellent food and wine!) and one international (great fish & chips, curry, burgers etc) and a couple of lovely bars

Almyrida is a short walk (15min) down the road with several restaurants etc and lots of water sports if you have the energy (we didn’t 🤣) Tip: taxi back up cost only 6 euros, highly recommended in the heat, even for the good walkers! We all loved Villa Nicolas and hope to return some day, that view will be missed (so will the raki

We have just returned from two week stay at Villa Nicolas, Plaka and it did not disappoint! The villa was perfect for our family of five, very spacious, clean and well equipped

We had nice large apartment with sea view. Our apartment and all hotel facilities were very clean. Hotel is just few meters from the nice sandy beach. Owner is very nice person and very helpful :) we had a great stay!

A simple, cozy place, but in a great location and very quiet. Very close to the beach; it is ideal as a base for visiting the western part of Crete and returning to a quiet place every evening. Recommended.

Later, I relaxed on one of their many lovely sofas to phone home for necessary news. A little more time to relax on the sunbeds and I was ready to leave, a very contented woman

I chose the outdoor dining area overlooking a river with ducks that runs into the sea I am a pescetarian, but mainly vegetarian. The food was HEAVENLY and the variety amazing

I had 2 huge platefuls of savoury food and lots of delicious CRETAN WINE. I then enjoyed a variety of desserts and fresh fruit followed by a coffee by the outdoor pool area

I came here for one day on a charged for day pass costing 32 euros. What a TREAT! I was allowed to use the indoor and outdoor pools beteen 10 am until 6 pm

Also the outdoor pools were really cold its nice that there is an heated pool indor but would have been nice if the outside one was heated

We stayed at the Kiani Beach Report Family hotel for 8 days with friends (4 adults and 4 teenagers), located in an ideal location by the sea. The 2 restaurants offer a variety of quality cuisine

Is in a relaxing area with beachfront views and includes 3 restaurants and 2 heated pools nice and r laxing hotel we will come again for sure!

In general great place to stay with small children, great facilities, fun events for children. Swimming pools are anyone can desire, outside, inside non heated, inside heated

If one wants beach that is also available, sandy ***** is just 500m away to the side if necessary. Staff is really polite and helpful, buffet all inclusive food is not boring and selection can satisfy most i am sure

Good: pool, gym, sport options, beach, room size, friendly reception staff, some restaurant staff was also really nice, lots of beach chairs

Ok: food (lacking flavor a bit but otherwise ok), cleaning (that varied a lot - one day it was excellent, the next they just mopped in middle of the floor and took away our beach towels without replacing them)

Plenty of public parking along the beach in front of the Hotel. We had Sea View rooms (thanks for the upgrade!) that were clean with nice bathrooms (always a bonus in Greece!) The staff was friendly

What a beautiful tranquil place to stay. Close to the beach and central square. Beautiful well tended gardens and spotless apartments. Only went for a weekend but felt like I had been relaxing for a week

Rena was so lovely! The location is very central but the apartments are well designed so you had privacy. Gardens are so beautiful! Next time we are in Georgioupolis we will certainly stay here! 100%recommended!

Fantastic hotel! We had a 1 bed apartment rather than a studio and it was really spacious. Very comfortable and had everything we needed, plenty of hot water, well stocked kitchen for plates, pans etc

Bed was super comfortable and plenty of storage for clothes. Cleaning was immaculate and the lady was lovely. The staff were all fantastic, helped when needed and offered great advice

and enough to cook a few meals. Also, toaster, kettle and coffee maker, full size fridge and 2 ring hob. Bathroom was well designed and modern, clean plenty of fresh towels

Lovely studios at Papadakis. Very spacious, kept immaculately clean and a lovely bathroom with a great shower. Very centrally located too with amazing gardens. Top Class.

We had a great time at this hotel it was near the end of the season but had the weather. The hotel is boutique so cozy and cute. Lovely swimming pool with sea view. Thank you guys for a great holiday

The staff are all very friendly and always smiling especially the girls on reception, Tatiana. There is pool, it is on the beach and breakfast buffet is delicious. Restaurant was great with delicious fresh salad and food

Pool area is lovely and next to the beach. Breakfast is good wide choice of hot & cold dishes. I cannot recommend it enough.

This is a small hotel and although its on the beach its not really a usable beach unless you walk a little further up. Dining area is nice overlooking the sea but nowhere near big enough

We stayed in room with sea view for 7 days and it was a great vacation. From booking to arrival the receptionist was super accommodating helpful and super friendly

Everything flowed smoothly from minute 1! Friendly welcome from Rula and family and staff. Perfect location for relaxing, unstressed break

We have visited Georgioupolis many times and Kokalas is always our preferred resort!
