Restaurants in the vicinity are from very good and authentic til tourism style. Having a car is recommended to see Chania, beaches and other places

It was a great experience for us! We had such a lovely time in this hotel. we really love the morning sea view from our room and the pool and mountain view from our very own🥰🤩 breakfast table

All over: if you search for a good and cozy hotel, we’ll maintained, good food and on a nice spot, for a good price, you are perfectly right

Reservation of sun beds at the pool is sometimes an issue (almost like everywhere) and should be addressed to the Guests by the hotel staff

Some guests are making reservations by putting their belongings in the early morning on the beds. parking at the street for free within short walk. Small but nice Beach available

A smile and wishing a nice day in the restaurant would make it all over perfectly in this price class. Lack of pool towels must be solved

Right next to the beach and such an ideal location for a relaxing holiday. Cleanliness is a very important thing for me and they met and exceeded all my expectations, thoroughly cleaning everyday

Staff is beyond friendly and extremely helpful and made us feel welcome and eager to visit again

There are also options like pancakes, waffles, and omelets made to order, which is a nice touch, but overall, the quality could be better

Additionally, the safe in my room wasn’t working, which was a bit inconvenient. The breakfast buffet was mediocre at best

They offer a full English breakfast with the usual bacon, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, and sausages

Food was fantastic and they had a variety of different foods giving us a taste of the Greek cuisine and foods available for all pallets, there is something for everyone! We will definitely be returning, as someone who has stayed in a fair amount of hotels this is by far one the best experiences

However you are less than a minute away from the strip to get to the beach, shops and restaurants. The nearest supermarket is also just a 3 minute walk away. The cute little house was cozy and well decorated

As nobody rented the main house during our stay he said it was fine to use the clothesline and main patio. We really enjoyed our morning coffee on the little terrace outside the door and overall feel of the property

The bed was comfortable and water pressure good. It is a fairly steep staircase to the bedroom but nothing we couldn’t handle. Our host gave us a warm welcome and checked in with us half way through the stay

We stayed at the little windmill roundhouse and it was fantastic. It was exactly what we hoped for. You get the full Cretan vibe with the blue and white building with a garden in midst of an olive grove

We can very much recommend it!

We stayed during the shoulder season right before most places opened up for summer, so the town was quiet and not busy. SK Place was one of few resorts on the island open and we were so happy with our choice

Katerina is a great host who goes above and beyond from little touches like a house phone with recommended restaurants on speed dial to the daily bakery driver visiting the villa with fresh bread and Greek delicacies

Check out the pictures on their website - it is exactly as advertised (which is rare in any country). Katerina is an exceptional host and will help find places to go and eat all over Crete

We had a truly magnificent stay. The villa was absolutely stunning with a well thought-out design and plenty of space, inside and out, for relaxing and entertaining

We stayed at Villa Ammos which was just perfect. The sunsets are fantastic and it is a 3 minute walk to the small town. We have visited twice and we will be back.

Kitchen-living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Veranda overlooking the sea, a small patio with sun loungers and an umbrella. Air conditioners in every bedroom. The kitchen has enough utensils for a large company

Very cozy house, two rooms with air conditioning, living room, and spacious and well-kept outdoor areas. Very good sea views allow you to relax having breakfast or a drink

There are 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds (hard mattress, this was very important to us). You can hear the waves if you sleep with the window open. There is a nice little beach with pebbles close to the villa

Stone beach a few meters away, better for our taste than the more distant sandy ones, it allows diving and enjoying

Conveniently not embarrassingly close to the beach. Two bedrooms living room with kitchenette well equipped. Taverns and restaurants 10 mins walk. Peacefully, the perfect place to relax

A friendly Greek couple runs this place. My apartment was nice with two balconies and a kitchen. Air conditioning costs 50 € extra per week and the hotel tax is 50 cents per day. That’s nothing.

Good communication with the owners, evethough we never met. Spacious apartment. Nice balcony to have a breakfast. Well supplied kitchen.l

We had nice large apartment with sea view. Our apartment and all hotel facilities were very clean. Hotel is just few meters from the nice sandy beach. Owner is very nice person and very helpful :) we had a great stay!

Very nice place, close to a beautiful beach, close by good price efficient food. The rooms are clean and nicly equipped. Awesome and very friendly staff. We will be back :) My only "complaint": I like softer beds more

A simple, cozy place, but in a great location and very quiet. Very close to the beach; it is ideal as a base for visiting the western part of Crete and returning to a quiet place every evening. Recommended.

Beautiful, clean, tidy and with view rooms. The owners are very polite and so helpful..!! The beach is organized, clean and only 20 meters away..

The food was varied and suited all tastes, on a buffet style which for me was very dangerous and led to eating way to much, thankfully Iva the animator helps you to wear off the extra calories you are bound to take on with the great food and rink available; the water aerobics are definitely great fun and an easy way to get to know others

You can’t post a review of the Kalyves beach without mentioning Momo, the guest relations guy! He is a great asset and really helps you to settle in to your holiday from day one

Kalyves is not a place overflowing with tourists, but rather a location recommended for quiet and peaceful relaxation. Within half an hour by car, you can reach many wonderful sights

We got a free upgrade to a superior sea view room, discounts on spa treatments (which though I didn’t get I was told weee heavenly!), all you can drink cocktails and premium alcohol and more

He is able to arrange the best trips and give you the lowdown on the island. At his recommendation we went for a cruise which was amazing

I can honestly say that our favourite host here was Momo. He’s really friendly and helpful (also best DJ here). Hotel has delicious drinks and two nice sand beaches. It’s beautiful and I would come back here once more

The most amazing resort ever! So many pools all indoors and outdoors ! All clean! Sunbeds along beach and bars are always welcoming! The rooms are very modern and clean! The staff is so friendly! You will find new food items in buffet every day ! Never gets repetitive and it’s very very tasty! We travel 7-10 times a year, and have been all over world ! This place is something magical

Or you can use the numerous pools including a great indoor pool which is next to a very decent gym. And there’s a paddle court and tennis court too as well as group activities like beach volleyball

The resort amenities, especially the pool areas and the beach access, were pristine and ideal for relaxation. We also enjoyed the variety of activities available, from the fitness center to the kids' entertainment

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Kiani Beach Resort with our two small children (3 years old). The hotel has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and is divided into three sections

The first one is the oldest, right by the sea, with a pool, while the second is newer and features a fantastic children’s pool with slides

The hotel is right by the sea which is perfectly safe for bigger kids - young ones you would need to watch out for as it gets deep fairly quickly

It is very neatly located at a hill very close to restaurants and bars. The sea and the beach are literally just a stone throw away. The food in the hotel restaurant is great

The walk to Almyrida where there are restaurants by the sea front and shops is only a couple of minutes but is a very steep hill up and down. We loved our stay overall and hopefully will see you again

The breakfast buffet is fab with lots of choice. We had a room with the shared plunge pool which is highly recommended; it’s great to cool off in after a day by the beach

Our hotel room was very spacious with a private pool overlooking the beautiful Creatian sea. The hotel is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful

The hotel is not too busy, with plenty of sun beds available. The bottles of water are replenished daily for the room, and the staff at the pool bar always made sure we could have water by the pool

We went to the gym every day: super clean and they have got all the necessary equipment for a nice gym session. Pools are always clean, you can enjoy your cocktails by the pool or the private pool
