Very cosy family-owned hotel with a welcoming and helpful host, providing detailed advice on places to see in Kefalonia. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to make the most of our holiday - for example, offering a bottle of wine upon arrival and a free sun umbrella to use for the duration of our stay.

We have returned to this summer residence after more than ten years. Well, this time too we spent a wonderful holiday period !!! I recommend to all those who love Kefalonia to live away from the chaos and surrounded by nature, but also a short distance from some of the most beautiful beaches of this island, to stay there. Really lovely hotel with welcoming owners in a handy location (10 mins from airport, 10 mins from Argostoli). Pool is big and surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants. Very nice place to spend a week in a peaceful location.

The great welcome from Effie after a 5.55am flight from Gatwick really got my holiday off to a good start. I stayed for two nights ahead of a yoga break and Effie and her team provided a home from home. Very comfortable pitstop and first class support with getting my bearings. Effie's love for the island is infectious. Best wishes to them all. x

Nice place to stay or visit the beach nearby. There are 2 beaches on both sides of Vigla. One is more secluded and not accessible by car (to the right), other is accessible by car (to the left) but more people there. There's a good restaurant nearby.

A beautiful place for a yoga retreat. You feel like in your own little world. The apartments are clean, spacious with great decor. It has its own private beach. Lots of lovely spaces to sun bath or just chill in the shade. The owner Anna is such a fantastic host and a genuinely friendly person and always so busy but still has time to be sociable. Kefalonia is a really beautiful and peaceful Island, and so is Kefalonia bay resort. We were two families staying in Kefalonia bay resort for 10 days. It was indeed a very pleasant time; the host family are really nice and helpful. Every day, they met us with smile. Stayed here as part of a yoga week with yogaonashoestring. Vigla Village is a lovely sanctuary to the tourist and the owners are extremely friendly. Each little apartment is fairly basic but with everything you will need for a self catering break. Either visit the little private beach or Sartia beach a few minutes walk away. Would highly recommend.

A very well located hotel, close to all south beaches. Safe swimming pool for kids, big fresh garden with many plants. Spacious spotless rooms, nice view. Very friendly owners, Jovanna and her mother, always there to help you with anything. I def recommend it

Amazing accommodation. Rooms are clean, the pool is a great size and depth, the host is friendly and a very nice lady. Wifi works well, occasionally can take some time to connect but no issues other than that. The host gave her whatsapp number to message at any time for anything, we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and local sweets, there are free fresh vegetables that have been grown in the garden...

Extremely happy and impressed from the incredible people met during our stay. Jovanna is an exceptional hostess that made sure our stay is nothing more than amazing and relaxed. Great services and everything is absolutely squeaky clean. The family runs the place and you can tell that they are doing a great job. Will be back for sure and I definitely recommend it to anyone! The room was clean und very nice with kitchen and fridge. Even air condition. perfect for the summer! The view was awesome! In the morning you can have breakfast with a nice view on the sea in the front. Or a nice view on the mountin in the back. We had a nice holiday and we would come back for sure! We have been staying at Residence Poseidon for over 15 years. It never disappoints! Its in a fabulous location with great views and is very tranquil. The accommodation is immaculate and room service attends every day. The owner Vaghelis is always on hand if you need anything. The local beach is beautiful and there are local Tavernas that are delightful. The pool and bar area are beautifully kept and...

If you are looking for a safe, beautiful and friendly place for your vacations, please visit Poseidon residence. Vaghelis makes you feel better than home and help in every way possible. In addition Spartia is perfect spot to visit the island and close to the airport.

A fabulous residence, generous pool and the host ,Vaghelis is absolutely kind, opened to all the guests' requests, he is the nicest host we've met so far: sense of humour, always in good mood and available. Very picturesque vila complex with excellent service. Everything was very clean and tidy. You get room service every day that includes not only bed lines but also all the dishes we used the night before to have dinner.
