Borhotel Sziluett Farkasmaly

Despite the fact that the staff was really helpful and polite, the week at Hotel Sziluett was not quite relaxing.
The building is badly soundproofed, which is why sleeping longer than half past 6 in the morning is impossible. At this time the whole hotel seems to have breakfast and one is woken up by door smashing and chairs which are pullen on a tiled floor down in the restaurant.

Talking about the restaurant the dinner is quite fine, although my friends burger patty was raw inside.

The rooms itself are (in contrast of the modern looking entrance hall) rather old fashioned. But that's not as bad as the bathroom, where the drain is blocked so one has to stand in water while showering.

You are also standing in water while enjoining in the pool, of course. But only as long as it is open, which is not granted, not even during the official opening time between 10 am and 9 pm.

To sum it up the hotel might be best for people who do not wish to do anything else there except sleeping, but certainly not after 6:30.

We booked this hotel at 8pm on the 4th of August, received confirmation and arrived tired and exhausted after long drive at 2am on the 5th of August. But NO ONE entered the door!!!!! We called to the telephone number, which was on our booking confirmation - it was wrong number, just answering machine on Hungarian!!! We knocked the door, and called to other numbers but no one answered!!!!!
