Hotel Riviera

I feel like calling it a place of the heart. Perfect structure for families, elderly people, children, couples. Sea front, affiliated beach, delicious food, cleanliness, slides for the disabled, etc., but it's not just that. Monica and her staff are disarmingly kind and friendly, you feel at home but above all every guest is looked after, helped, supported and spoiled. Patience, empathy, friendliness, qualities that go far beyond the canons of good hospitality. After a few days spent here, leaving makes you feel sick. We stayed from September 7th to 10th in a standard room with half board, parking and beach service. It feels like family, in fact it is managed by the Zavatta family, where he is the chef. Breakfast and dinner are always plentiful with top quality food and are also ready for an encore. The duck a l'orange was excellent, but worth returning for the typical Romagna hospitality. In total we spent 580 euros between us, I'd say it was good

Hotel practically overlooking the beach, only the road separates it from the latter. Top location for beach lovers. Upon arrival you can park your car temporarily in the hotel's car parks, which are on a side street right behind the structure: check in is scheduled for 2.00pm but even though we arrived relatively early in the morning, we were still granted the room after a bit of waiting (approximately 11.30am); not everyone offers this treatment, so well done! As regards the parking space, you will be provided with a card to park in a large car park approx. 600m from the structure: video-monitored car park, with covering pergolas, some also have anti-hail sheets, useful in this period.
Returning to the structure: 3 floors with lift, the third seems to be the one that has undergone the most modernisations; the room is small, but with everything necessary; the A/C only turns on in the afternoon, for energy saving measures I presume, electric shutters, mini fridge and safe, bathroom with shower and hairdryer. The soap dispenser is a little wobbly. Small balcony with drying rack available for wet swimsuits (tops!), there are also clothes pegs.
Breakfast/dinner: breakfast times range from 7.45am to 9.30am, while for dinner you can show up from 7.30pm to 8pm, then you can stay as long as you need.
In the morning you will have the choice between sweet and savory, given that there are many foreigners: croissants, many homemade cakes, yogurt, jams, eggs etc... In the evening however there is a buffet with vegetables and appetizers, a counter with first and second courses and unk with desserts: the staff will give you the hot dishes, correct at least you take the right portions without wasting food; bis and tris can still be done and I recommend them, good and tasty food. Various desserts, from cakes to tiramisu and crème brulé. Drinks: at the tables you will find a bottle of water, if you want house wine (0.5l €7) or anything else, you can buy it. Super approved kitchen side, friendly and nice staff. Relaxing holidays guaranteed!

Everything here is appreciable 👌🏻👌🏻 it’s a family business in which serving the guests perfectly 👌🏻❤️❤️ great food (great means GREAT), friendly and polite staff, clean rooms with the view of the beach 🏖. I guess it’s one of the best 3-star hotels in the area since it’s renovated and modern. I highly suggest here 👌🏻❤️

The Hotel Riviera is located on a pedestrian street on the beach. The rooms are on three floors. The 14 square meter room was a bit small for us, but that was our mistake when booking. Also, we thought there was a swimming pool, but there isn't, presumably one of the pictures on the internet showed a pool, also our mistake.
Monique is the good soul of the hotel and helps the guests in several languages. Great customer orientation and friendly cordiality (Grazie!).
The rooms are very new and nicely furnished. The air conditioning is also brand new 😊😊

We had booked with breakfast, the service here was also very good and the breakfast delicious!

The only negative point (which also costs one star) is the housekeeping team: very unreliable! I don't want to list everything, just very briefly. We started with three large towels, then two, and then just one. The toilet paper 🧻 was not replenished for several days, on the last day we saved ourselves with Tempos. Then there is a knock on the door and half a second later it is thrown open...
In short: unfriendly and not professional!

Despite the terrible housekeeping, we can fully recommend the hotel!

Real Holiday look&feel, great food, rooms and beach, great for children

I stayed last year for the first time with my family at this property and, if we were divinely well, this year even more.
The owner Monica, her daughters and all the staff always kind and attentive, not to mention the chef Loris who with his delicious dishes makes us go home leavened. Cleanliness and kindness are the order of the day, the breakfast is super, with a cappuccino made at the best self-service in the bar.
Having said that, I can only highly recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay at Igea Marina.
