Reviews
Upon arriving at the hotel, we had to wait an hour since it wasn’t check in time yet. However, after asking to check in problems have occurred. We had to wait even longer, because our room wasn’t cleaned yet. After another hour of waiting the staff finally switched rooms for us, but that could have been done in the beginning to prevent such waiting time. The staff at the front wasn’t the friendliest. When asking for a taxi, the staff person said that I should come down to the reception, which I did, but when I was there they immediately told me that there was no taxi. Then why even ask me to come down? (They have their own taxi service, which is why there was none available.) There are free shuttles that drive to the amusement park, but it’s often crowded and there’s a wait time after a certain time.
Wouldn’t stay in that hotel again.
In all the hotels i stayed in before, i usually pay extras and taxes at checkout. In all restaurants in the world you pay after eating. But here, in this hotel, they act the opposite to these universal codes. I am even afraid they will charge me in advance to any additional breath i take here. I had to pay city taxes at the arrival and had to stand in a long time to pay for breakfast before entering the breakfast area. I felt humiliated because they made me feel as though i am a thief who is going to escape after eating.
Surely the hotel will answer saying this is their policy, but excuse me to say this policy sucks.
Moreover, i had to rent towels for the swimming pool, 2 Euros each. Alas, what a 5-star hotel takes money for towels??? Another policy??? Please add the rental amount of towels to the hotel fees and spare us and you this embarrassment.
The hotel itself as a building is nice. The rooms are nicely decorated. There is a lot of parking spaces. The staff is generally ok, though one of them was rude to my teenage daughter.
However, all the good things in the hotel diminishes and disappear because if their cheap policies of payments.
I am not saying don’t go there, but be emotionally prepared for this treatment.
By the way, in this trip to Italy i’ve been to another 3 hotels (Rome, Florence, Milan)… they never asked to pay at arrival.
exorbitant prices for everything possible (like 6 euros for swim cap, after you discover that even men cannot enter the pool without one)
Nice people working in the restaurant
Worst receptionist and very rude to me
Not clean rooms and lot of bugs were there
Far from the park and from Move land
Just telling you now since you will have a hard time communicating in English in the restaurant.
The dinner in the Tutanch Amun restaurant, however, was rather surprising! Try the sweet pizza- this was delicious.
