We just spent 6 nights at the Lions Hotel and would definitely come back. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and speak English. The breakfast and dinners were very good and they cater for Gluten Free. The location is perfect with the beach right across the road and a pool to enjoy as well. Only a short 10 minute walk into Falerna Marina.

A great hotel for visiting Falerna Marina and the local area. Travelling with my two kids, 5 and 2, the hotel was very accommodating for us. The staff are super friendly. Breakfast has plenty of options and the pastries are great. Quiet at night for a great sleep.

Very friendly staff, they kept our 'non refundable' booking from July 2020 valid until April 2023.
Rooms are very clean, with minibar and we had a sea view terrace.
The lift reaches until the 3rd floor, access to 4th floor by stairs only, which was not a problem for us.
Breakfast could improve, little items available and nothing fresh.

We stopped here overnight while on a road trip. We chose the least expensive room that fit 3 guests. We were tired and ready for bed. Despite our tired attitude the staff was extremely kind and even spoke English. The hotel offered us to eat dinner even though it was late in the evening. The food was good and the service we got was above and beyond. The room had a view of their beach and pool with plenty of seating. Breakfast in the morning was light and perfect. Well worth the money and we would stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful. It is located right on the water, and has access to its own beach during the summer. The rooms are spacious, and clean, well kept, and organized. The heater / AC work perfectly, and the rooms are always kept at a comfortable temperature. There is a refrigerator that has various beverages from coca-cola, to water. The room I stayed in had a balcony that overlooked the sea and it was beautiful. The bathrooms are clean, and the water pressure is perfect. The staff are all friendly, and accommodating, and the food is fantastic. If you're looking to stay at a hotel right along the water in southern Italy, this place is perfect. The pool is always full as well, so you can go swimming in the summer, or winter, it's up to you. I highly recommend the Lions hotel, you won't regret staying here!

To give an accurate review I will list both the good and the bad points firstly,
The Good
Spotlessly clean
Extremely nice kind and courteous staff
Swimming pool, not the biggest in the world but 50mtrs away you have the sea.
Private beach with sun loungers etc provided.
The food is as would be expected by Italian / continental visitors if you wanted a fry-up breakfast you would be struggling.
The Bad
Well not really bad the hotel is somewhat isolated but if you are content to lounge in the sun all day then you will not be disappointed.
However the coast line in both directions, as well as the small towns are definitely worth a visit but you will need a car (I never saw a bus).
Overall a really nice place (and the receptionist will set your WiFi up for you).
Worth a visit.
