My stay here was uncomfortable enough that I feel compelled to share. The experience was, frankly, unpleasant because of a persistent hostility that colored the entire stay.
The female staff member I interacted with, in particular, seemed intent on making things difficult. My husband briefly dropped something off and left, and shortly after, I was visited in my room by the front desk woman who repeated — no exaggeration — the same sentence about needing everyone’s documents at least ten times in a row. I explained that he would provide his ID when he returned, as he wasn’t even on the premises. Still, she continued, looping the same phrase with an unnerving insistence. It felt less like a request and more like a power play — as though she was trying to provoke or unsettle me for reasons I genuinely don’t understand.
When I later asked for fresh towels, I was told no — because I hadn’t requested a full room cleaning. I don’t understand how merely giving me fresh towels should be more work than cleaning my entire room, and why I was being punished for not wanting a room clean. Again, the tone was not merely policy-driven but punitive.
The physical environment didn’t do much to compensate. The bed was uncomfortably firm, the pillows were both limp and lumpy, and the sheets were scratchy. The lighting in the room was harsh and clinical — bright white bulbs that felt more suited to a dentist’s office than a guest room.
All in all, I wouldn’t return, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others who are hoping for even a basic level of hospitality.

A lovely and charming hotel run by a group of ladies who do their best to comfort you. Clean and individual rooms, good atmosphere, selected breakfast with freshly brewed coffee, very close to the beach - simply amazing!

The ancient site is beautifully preserved in a quiet green location, even in the center of Marina di Ragusa.

Strategic location a stone's throw from the center, clean, special decor but overall pleasant. What we appreciated most was the accessibility and politeness. They advised us well on restaurants and beach amenities. But the surprise they gave us was amazing. While we were relaxing at the beach pool they recommended, the bartender brings us a huge tray of fresh fruit with two glasses of prosecco, a gift from the hotel because it just so happened that we were on holiday to spend our anniversary in a different way. They were SUPER!!!

Very nice unprofessional staff that really tried maid service was great Walking to beach restaurants and bars was great
Very old and needs updating we could barely move on the tiny shower which wasn’t the cleanest
No ice no wine opener no glasses only plastic very good continental breakfast with a wonderful woman serving coffee

I had originally booked to stay three nights but left after one.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, as others have said in their reviews, and the location is great. The bathroom itself was clean, but I could smell mold/mildew coming from the vents and could see like buildup on the tiles on the floor around the sink.
The air conditioner is very weak, and there are no fans.
The outside area has a nice view and would be nice to sit in, if it had lights for night time and didn’t have dead plants as decor.
The mattress was very hard, as others have said, and there was no blanket on the bed. While it’s fine to not have blankets on beds, when I did find one in the dresser, it had long black hairs stuck to it and it was dusty. The towels were very scratchy and left red marks on my body and face.
In the end, too many things were wrong for us to complete our whole stay so we checked out after one night.

This hotel is fine boutique hotel. The staff are really nice and helpful, location is good, 1 min from breach and plaza, quiet rooms, good breakfast. My 2 bugs are the horrible wall hairdryer and plastic cups for juice , I got a kettle when asked and milk for my tea.. nice to have a ceiling fan and aircon in the room. The resort is really nice, not many Brits and proper Italian. Great breach and restaurants. A hidden gem.

Great location, 2 min walk to Piazza, restaurants and 5 mins to beach. Very comfortable beds. Good bathroom. Able to use terrace area. Excellent value for money. Would definitely return.

This hotel is quite dated and old. Bathrooms are not clean.
