Hotel La Funtana

This place is very special due to its staff, from the employees at the reception, bar, restaurant to the cleaners. Everyone is nice, polite and always there for you! The hotel is cute, located 15 minutes from the centre, in a quiet area. The breakfast is very nice, the pool is clean. The rooms are clean and well maintained.

This is the place to be if you want to really disconnect from work/daily life. It reminds me to a mamma mia house. The hotel property is lovely and always trying to help you with absolutely anything. You can safely bring your little loved dog here and leave jt on their own. Breakfasts are AMAZING. Full of homemade cakes, pastries and fresh fruit. Can’t say enough things about this place. If I could buy a room here to come every few months I would definitely do so. Already our second year here, and will continue coming. Thanks!!!

We had a lovely time staying at La Funtana. The hotel was extremely clean and well cared for, and the staff was exceptional. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was going smoothly and they gave us great recommendations for what to do throughout the island. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at this charming hotel for 8 nights. The hotel is boutique and has some beautiful personal touches everywhere.

We had a balcony room over the swimming pool and it was spacious and comfortable with a good size balcony you could lay out in. The bed was comfortable and had an excellent bathroom.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful and nothing was ever a problem. They really made the holiday that bit extra special. The breakfast variety was extensive and excellent quality and the cocktails and coffee from the bar were great.

Location was also really good. 5 minutes walk from the port for boat trips, 10 minutes into town and just a bit further to the local beach. Parking was easy and supermarkets and a couple of decent restaurants nearby. When we were there (end of May) the pool area wasn’t busy so always could find somewhere in the sun to sit and lay.

We had a wonderful holiday and the hotel was faultless, would recommend and return again one day.

Standard juices at breakfast probably only water, sugar and color. Fresh juices on demand but expensive (€5)/ Breakfast kind of a standard one, could be a bit better (more choices, rolls could be backed and not like chewing gum, too many sweets and cakes)/ English could be better, sometimes communication a bit challenging/ not many opprtunities to hang wet towels and clothes (we had room witout balcony)/ nothing to eat offered for dinner, you need to go out or make diet/ no mosquito net on windows/ bedside table could be bigger (one single layer rack mounted at the wall was too small)/ position of gym direct in front of breakfast room could be better/ double bed with 2 separate matraces instead of one big/ if WiFi is mandatory for you: don't come, too .many connectivity issue's / fresh juices at bar not fresh squeezed, comes in bottles with by far less than 100% juice content (depending on which fruits?)

Oh, where do I start? I love Italy and I often travel solo as I want to enjoy myself and do as I please. This was my first visit to Sardinia and I’m so glad I had chosen to stay here. The hotel has everything and more to make anyone’s stay in Santa Teresa enjoyable.
Top tier hospitality, smiley people (all staff) who can’t do enough for the guests. They are very laid back but still professional and approachable.
Breakfast is delicious and no one will leave the restaurant hungry (unless you’re used to having caviar for breakfast!). There is absolutely everything- cereals, yoghurts, eggs, meats, cheeses, fruits, sweet and savoury pastries and… CAKES! They make their own cakes, different cakes every day and all were absolutely delicious. Everything was tasty and fresh.
My room was lovely- it was spacious and clean with some lovely touches reminding me I was in Sardinia. My bed was 2 single beds joined together but very comfortable and I slept very well (I have a bad sciatica and I almost had to cancel my holidays so it’s important for me to have a good mattress). Oh, and there’s a little terrace with tables and chairs outside my room where I enjoyed my Aperol spritz (or two 😉) in the evening. The garden and pool are great and very well maintained- makes you feel like you’re in the Love Island villa!
Personally, I think the location is perfect. La Funtana is only a 10-15 minute walk away from the stunning beach and the centre. I particularly enjoyed my evening walks back to the hotel after some yummy dinners and gelato in town. There are lots of supermarkets and shops near the hotel too.
I think the comments about the noise are ridiculous. Of course there’s some noise, it’s a hotel. People check in and check out at different times, and if anything they’re on holiday so they want to have fun. There are lots of Airbnb’s in Santa Teresa if anyone wants to have their private space.

Sadly, because of my back issues I couldn’t do most of the activities I had planned for this trip. I never visit the same place twice but I fell in love with Santa Teresa and I will have to come back one day when I’m fully recovered to explore everything it has to offer. And I already know where I will be staying at ☺️

We loved our vacation here and liked the service! The breakfast is rather small and kept simple (little vegetarian alternatives) but nonetheless very nice with good coffee! The pool area is great to relax and stay. Also the rooms and gym are very clean.
The supermarkets are very close and practical while the way to the beach requires a 20 min walk, which is totally fine.

The hotel is very clean. People are friendly in general. But the room are too simple for this price and breakfast is poor or very poor. Even No vegetables like cucumber or tomato’s. I can’t not say that food was fresh every day. Not once probably they used cakes from the previous day. Product like sausages , cheese , Jogurts were the cheapest.

A very nice place, pleasant pool, good rooms, not too crowded, very nice restaurant for dinner, also good selection at breakfasts. Had a very good stay here. Just two deficiencies I might point out: the WiFi operates on a "40 seconds on, 20 seconds off" basis so that should be improved (it would be hard to Skype for instance); and when we wanted to borrow a corkscrew to open a wine, it turned out that this is only possible if we buy a 10€ service of "opening a wine bottle + 2 empty glasses". Feels a bit cheap/weird to charge for this?

Really nice hotel. Our room had a view on the pool. The restaurant is really good, both for breakfast (included) and for dinner. Good service, and always helpful staff! Would recommend. Only thing is you would need a car to get into town.
