This was a fun themed tour of a complex that has served seven regimes, including the nazis and soviets, as a military prison. Fairly grim conditions as you would expect. Guide was knowledgeable and spoke decent English
There is a cafeteria to buy some food and soft drinks. Outside there is a big yard to hang out, make photos near the old military car. As I went with a kid, I liked that there was a place for kids to play in the yard
Pretty interesting history of this place. The excursions with a guide are made every hour. There are two different guides. One speaks russian, the other one english. To go on excursion it costs 5 EUR per person
It's a piece of history you can visit here. This was a military prison used by the Russian when they were established in Liepaja. They used to send every soldier who failed to comply with the military code
Woow 👌 great place. Tickets only 10 min before excursions. So you need to be there HH:50. For example: if you want to have excursion at 14 o’clock, you have to come and by tickets 13:50.
The site has some interesting WW1/2 war relics. Wasn’t expensive and definitely broadened my horizons, so a recommend from me 👍🏻

We had big apartment with two separate rooms, small kitchen and bathroom. Everything was good. Apartment is in very good location in the city centre.

The main sights are also in walking distance, the beach just in distance of about 1 kilometer. The guest house is located on a quiet pedestrian street
Entrance door has the code, the guest has own keys of apartment, one can feel a sense of security, because the surroundings are calm

Nice place , in center of Liepaja,good price.
The rooms are clean, the bed is stable and comfortable enough, the kitchen corner is equipped with dishes, a couple of glasses and mugs, there is a water kettle and a toaster

You can have breakfast in the opposite Hotel Liva for 6, - € or very good and cheap at the bakery just around the corner for half
I recommend everyone to stay here!
