Golden Beach Resort

Booked a deluxe room with two single beds. Very spacious with a balcony overlooking the huge pool and partial sea view. Everything was clean and functioned properly with no issues. The staff are all very polite and helpful. You can walk to the main road easily and be right in the middle of all the food and shopping. Trips and transportation can be arranged through the hotel. I’d definitely stay here again.

Staff are very helpful and the location is fantastic. Dinner at their Thai restaurant was one of the best meals we had. Car parking is very limited. We would stay here again and probably will. Stand at the entrance can help you with any boat/island trips you want to book.
We found price good and very well run trip

We've just stayed one night in a suite over looking the pool. The room was vast making up to bathrooms 2 tv's and a great view of the pool. Second 2 nights in the more basic rooms which are more basic but clean and tidy. The staff have all been great, location is fantastic, nice pool. The only things you need to be aware of is, is check in is 2pm and not before. Also as in many places in Thailand the beds are very firm. This is a really nice place to stay.

The resort is nice and well maintained, near the main street of Ao Nang, in a quiet area, just across the beach. Rooms are clean and very spacious, the staff does its job, outside areas are well maintained. The only minuses worth mentioning are: - old and noisy air conditioning devices, that can only be controlled from a wall panel (a remote would be convenient, allowing to control them from bed, instead of walking each time to the panel near the entrance) - being located practically on the public beach, a tray with water or a foot shower would be useful at the gate, so you don't carry the sand to your room - not friendly with smokers; it's prohibited to smoke even on the terrace of your villa; the only designated smoking area is at the front gate, which might mean a quite long distance from the villas situated at the far end if the compound.

Ao Nang is a very nice place to stay for your trip to Krabi. You can get there by car, there are boats to the other islands, and lots of things to do in the area. This resort is literally across the street from the beach. From our villa it was as simple as crossing the street to be there. It's just down the resort street that it's not super loud. If you walk down the street there are plenty of bars and restaurants to go to. If you walk maybe 15 minutes there is a night market and about 25- 30 there is a larger night market. With the smaller market about halfway between it makes the walk feel easy.
The breakfast is good and where you eat has a beautiful view of the beach. We had a villa and it was very nice. I would recommend. Overall it was a great choice. There is a 3,000 baht security deposit you need to put down a card for and the laundry is by piece and not kg so keep that in mind. Also, you may want to schedule your ride to the airport in advance. We had tried to use Grab to get a ride but did not get any pickups. We thought since it was a touristy area there may be some drivers around but no luck, We were able to get one the morning of through the hotel for 800 baht for the private shuttle to ensure we got there in time with no stops.
