Kokotel Krabi Oasis

I recently stayed at Kokotel for 3 nights and had a really positive experience overall. Originally we booked for 2 nights but enjoyed it so much we extended our stay by one more night.

The staff here are fantastic - super friendly and helpful. We had one minor issue with a broken light but when we mentioned it they immediately offered to move us to a new room, which we appreciated but declined since it wasn't a big deal.

They have a pool onsite which could have been a bit cleaner but I still enjoyed swimming there. The lounge area is large and great for working remotely - I saw many other guests working on laptops there as well.

The location is in a quiet area but still only a 15 minute walk to the beach. It's far enough to have a serene vibe but close enough to easily get to the action.

One important note - there are apparently two Kokotel hotels, so make sure you are booking the right one!

Overall, I would highly recommend Kokotel, especially if you're looking for affordable but comfortable lodging with stellar customer service. The staff really makes the place stand out.

I had a very pleasant stay here. We arrived late since our last 2 bookings from Agoda turned out already out of operation (so just be careful when you book online, do call to make sure they’re still available). The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was for 4 people with reasonable price. It’s clean, well cared for and I’m very satisfied. The location is not far from the beach it’s just that when we arrived they don’t have parking available for us but we park nearby area.

Hotel was very clean, and the staff were lovely. We extended our stay to be in the area for 2 more nights.
Rooms were lovely and big, as were the bathrooms. All round very good stay. Very nice to have shuttle to the beach and back.
Our second room the room itself was very dark when opened the windows there was a building of some sort blocking the sunlight getting to the room - however we didn't stay in the room very much so not a bother.

The room was clean and spacious. Bed and pillow were so comfortable. Water , shampoo , hair dryer. and towel also provided in the room. The staffs at the reception were friendly. We had forgotten our stuff in the safe box, but the staff kept it for us until we arrived back to the hotel to collect it. It was great and luckily that we got all our things back. There is a coffee shop at the same area for hotel check-in.

There are some parking lots at the right side of the hotel, it is more convenient if you are driving here as this hotel is located slightly far away from the night market area. There was an uncle who really friendly and helping to guide us to the parking area. Although we have communication barrier with him but he is always with good smile and helpful. The hotel do provide free shuttle service 5-6 times a day which was good for those stay here without own transport.

Only one thing that we think they should improve which is the towel provided, it looks really old like it has been used thousands of times. We hope this will improve already during our next visit in the future. Anyway, we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Highly recommended 👍

Great value for money hotel. Friendly staff and super clean room. There a few things not working such as the lift and the restaurant being closed. But can forgive them knowing they just reopened after COVID. Location is centered but best if you have your own transportation as it is up a small hill. Closest 711 is 10mn walk (next to the beach).

We stayed at Kokotel for 3 nights in the Koko Party Room (which is 2 single beds and a bunk as there is 4 of us traveling). The hotel itself is very clean, staff were very helpful and the pool itself actually cooled you down (as it is mostly in the shade). You can also take their free shuttle to their sister hotel and use the pool there which is on the roof- it is neat but very warm and not refreshing. Lots of people took the shuttle to the other hotel to have a shorter walk to Ao Nang Beach.
