Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort

This is an absolutely gorgeous hotel (beautiful grounds, wonderful staff, good gym, lovely food, clean beach, complementary paddle boards) but be warned if you are a couple looking for an 'adults only' vacation. Even though the hotel is absolutely geared up for romantic, honeymoon-type holidays, you will experience groups on family holidays. When we stayed, the pool was a magnet for splashing kids, a Monday kids cinema popped up on the grounds right outside our room and of course, noise follows kids. This is absolutely not the hotels fault and it does offer an absolutely incredible experience for familes with children...it's just not what we were looking for. The fault lies with our tour operator. After bringing certain concerns to the attention of the hotel, they could not do enough to ensure the remainder of our stay was amazing. This really is a special hotel with wonderful staff who genuinely want you to have an incredible experience. (P.S. Thank you Sandy 🙏)

Very good Hotel to stay in Ko Samui
Very friendly, kind, caring, staff and very relaxing atmosphere every single day.
We stayed for 5 days and didn't want to go to Bangkok
It was fantastic and don't have words to share our stay.
Fisherman's Market was just 10 minutes away.
I will highly recommend it.

There are both baths. Outdoors with an open air rain shower and there is another private pool because this is a pool villa. There are also several types of rooms. Try asking Bon right away. This is a one-stop service; the staff pays attention to every detail. When I knew that P'Prin Let's celebrate his birthday Even if it's not on that day There were decorations, cakes and champagne on the bed. The place is calm, secluded, spacious, lots of trees. I walked and got lost. Employees are still lost. The beach is very clean. Can swim comfortably. There is a rope barrier in the area to be safe and worry-free. The hotel also has kayaks. There is no buffet for breakfast during this COVID time. But you can always order from an employee. I want to say that the breakfast is very good. Nice hotel, the only thing the staff needs to do is improve

Pool villa was amazing. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and vegetarian friendly. Beachfront property. The friendly staff at the reception helped us in getting a motorbike. Overall one of the nicest and beautiful resort I have been to.

With Discovery status we received a complimentary room upgrade, a sweet welcome gift, and late checkout. We were also assigned attentive staff who greatly contributed to our positive experience. Fresh flowers adorned our room daily, and our tea and water supplies were promptly replenished. Each evening, we appreciated the warm goodnight wishes left in our room. The breakfast buffet offered a diverse selection of high-quality dishes, and the hotel's garden was truly stunning. Its proximity to the fisherman village, night market, bars, and restaurants was convenient.
However, there were a few drawbacks:
- Our room didn’t have a real balcony, just a sitting area
- The bathroom was too small, with a large door that limited space for placing a foot towel.
- At times, pool towels were unavailable.
- The public toilet at the pool area requires renovation.
- The prices at the pool/beach bar are exorbitant.

The best part of this hotel is the pool and proximity to Bophut Fishermen village. The staff is also excellent. Our ocean view room was nice. We had fresh fruit waiting for us and the view was stunning. Guilty, the restaurant, is delicious as well. There is an opportunity to improve on details. For example, the beach towels were old and damaged. The pool itself is beautiful, but the lounging areas are overcrowded. They are upgrading the location so there was some noise from the construction in the morning, but only lasted for about an hour. The beach is not the best, so we spent most of our time by the pool. Overall it was a very nice experience.

Enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel.
It's in a great location, just a short walk into fishermen's village. The staff at the hotel are great and very attentive, and the grounds are fabulous and well kept.
I tried all the restaurants at the hotel and was not disappointed the food was excellent along with the service.
The rooms are very well appointed bed extremely comfortable housekeeping do an excellent job. A big thanks to Than, Johnny, and Omy, You do a great job also, Sandy guest relations. Thanks for your help so many more. Everyone was amazing

We had a brilliant 1 week stay at the Anantara. We have been travelling Thailand for 3 weeks and the service here is the best we experienced out of the other hotels we have stayed at. The vibe here is good, it’s got a good mixture of liveliness and chill vibes when you need them. We visited the spa and I have to say it’s really worth the money. The spa is fantastic, it feels like you’re in a movie when you’re walking towards it! Definitely has the wow factor.
Breakfast food in the morning is good, caters to all needs!
Big shout out to my main man Yut and Cindy. They were really friendly and took care of both myself and my wife by the pool on our honeymoon.
My only minor bit of criticism would be that the room we stayed in was nice (deluxe garden view room) but the bathroom felt maybe a bit tired and the weird swinging door caused some issues when trying to negotiate the shower and toilet!

Simply wow. Gorgeous resort where I spent one week in a two bedroom suite with my family. The staff have been outstanding and interacting with them every day has been one of the highlights of our trip. Didn’t try the F&B options aside from breakfast which is a huge spread (including savoury Asian dishes too): delicious and recommended. The location on the island if great - family and couple centric and very very chill. Would absolutely return.
