Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort

Was here for a 2 day conference. The location was amazing. So close to everything. Conference room facilities were perfect, and the ethernet speeds so fast. The staff went out of their way to make everything work perfectly. The grounds were amazing with an awesome pool and a nice beach. The food was exceptional. Staff were happy and helpful 😊

Khun Nicky at the kids club is a gem of a person and helped our kid engage and make him feel at home.

Absolutely stunning hotel! Very quiet and not overcrowded. Gorgeous pool and beach.
The breakfast buffet is a must try and so is the Spa. Their staff is very accommodating and kind. I highly recommended staying here if you are looking for a luxurious relaxing time.

The resort is amazing, specially for family. Why do I give only four stars? There are two extreme risks for babies and kids. First one: the balconies have a too low railing. All look nice, it’s just crazy risky. Second: the upper pool bar terrace has railings but the distance of each railing is way too big. Kids can easily fall down and get hurt. Dear Anantara team: please fix it! I’m still in the hotel and will show those two finding to you. Best regards.

Great location. Walk to Fisherman's Village. Felt very safe walking around. Wife didn't like the stray dogs though. The pool is so unique with in pool seats and laying areas around the edge. These really are not showcased in the photos. Hands down one of the most enjoyable pools I've been in at a resort.
Rooms were clean, bathtub was huge and like a pool for our 2 year old.
The bad:
1. Trying to take a nap in the afternoon. We were facing the pool and could hear all the noise. Could hear the wheels of the carts rolling by. Could hear footsteps in the rooms above.
2. The pillows are horrible. We ordered every pillow on the pillow menu. Latex and contour pillows were a 9/10 firmness that only depressed 5mm. Other pillows were so soft you were basically laying flat on the mattress. The memory foam pillow was not available. But for a 5 star hotel should be standard. Anyway the sleep was horrible as a result.
3. Sea view was basically a pool view with the sea in the distance given the U shape of the resort.

This is an absolutely gorgeous hotel (beautiful grounds, wonderful staff, good gym, lovely food, clean beach, complementary paddle boards) but be warned if you are a couple looking for an 'adults only' vacation. Even though the hotel is absolutely geared up for romantic, honeymoon-type holidays, you will experience groups on family holidays. When we stayed, the pool was a magnet for splashing kids, a Monday kids cinema popped up on the grounds right outside our room and of course, noise follows kids. This is absolutely not the hotels fault and it does offer an absolutely incredible experience for familes with children...it's just not what we were looking for. The fault lies with our tour operator. After bringing certain concerns to the attention of the hotel, they could not do enough to ensure the remainder of our stay was amazing. This really is a special hotel with wonderful staff who genuinely want you to have an incredible experience. (P.S. Thank you Sandy 🙏)

Very good Hotel to stay in Ko Samui
Very friendly, kind, caring, staff and very relaxing atmosphere every single day.
We stayed for 5 days and didn't want to go to Bangkok
It was fantastic and don't have words to share our stay.
Fisherman's Market was just 10 minutes away.
I will highly recommend it.

I walked and got lost. Employees are still lost. The beach is very clean. Can swim comfortably. There is a rope barrier in the area to be safe and worry-free. The hotel also has kayaks. There is no buffet for breakfast during this COVID time. But you can always order from an employee. I want to say that the breakfast is very good. Nice hotel, the only thing the staff needs to do is improve

Pool villa was amazing. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and vegetarian friendly. Beachfront property. The friendly staff at the reception helped us in getting a motorbike. Overall one of the nicest and beautiful resort I have been to.
