Anantara Koh Samui Resort

This is the second hotel of this trip. The first one is Anantara Phuket's Mai Khao Villa.
Let's talk about the environment first. It is indeed the style of Anantara. I heard that this one in Samui was also filmed at the White Lotus Resort. After going there, it is true that the environment is good overall. The sea is much better than Phuket. We also went to play paddleboards the next morning, which was very interesting.
The breakfast is at the normal luxury hotel level, fresh, but not very thoughtful.
Next, let's talk about the service. One of the reasons we chose Anantara is that it has its own tennis court, which is convenient for us to play. On the second day of the trip, we made an appointment for the tennis court for the next day. When we made the appointment, we got a clear reply from the front desk that it was already booked from 10 to 12 in the morning. The next day we entered the court to play as scheduled. At 11 o'clock, the staff of the gym department came to ask us about our appointment time. We said it was 10 to 12 in the morning. He told us that 11 to 12 was booked by the guest next door. At that time, we thought there might be a first come first served, so we thought it was ok and retreated to the front desk to ask. The staff at the front desk who should be a manager listened to our story and replied that the hotel can only book 1 hour a day. However, our two-hour reservation the day before was clearly booked with the front desk replying "available". In this case, our second hour was canceled and we were temporarily informed of the hotel's regulations. I was puzzled by this. Although the hotel front desk still helped us book another hour in the afternoon as compensation, to be honest, it really affected our mood.
There was another episode. When we left, we lost a lululemon legging on the balcony. Because we don't speak Thai and don't have a Thai address, we asked a Thai friend to call the hotel to inquire. The hotel replied that they needed to give feedback after checking, and then there was no feedback. It was probably lost. Although this was also caused by our carelessness, anyway, I think the possibility of disappearing in a hotel is not very high.

The service is very good. The location of this hotel is very good, close to fishman village and the internet celebrity bar coco tam's. I recommend going there!

A wonderful hotel with VERY good service. All services are great: reception and accommodation service: this is the first hotel where I was asked and, importantly, noted whether I have any allergies. The girls are all smiling. The beach and the pool: also great, they help with everything, delicious cocktails. Breakfasts: VERY varied! There is simply everything!!! Even if you come at 10.25, everything that was on the buffet line will be present. But not smiling employees ... spa: I recommend the girl Paula, very strong and at the same time gentle hands. Rooms: here is a fly in the ointment: everything seems to be fine, and a coffee machine, and mosquito repellent, and lavender for the pillow, and what not!!! But! The audibility is simply terrible, the smell of sewage in the toilet and a very noisy air conditioner! Without earplugs, no way.

Lovely hotel with the most comfortable bed, I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. Super clean, service & attention to detail was exceptional.

Was here for a 2 day conference. The location was amazing. So close to everything. Conference room facilities were perfect, and the ethernet speeds so fast. The staff went out of their way to make everything work perfectly. The grounds were amazing with an awesome pool and a nice beach. The food was exceptional. Staff were happy and helpful 😊

Absolutely stunning hotel! Very quiet and not overcrowded. Gorgeous pool and beach.
The breakfast buffet is a must try and so is the Spa. Their staff is very accommodating and kind. I highly recommended staying here if you are looking for a luxurious relaxing time.

The resort is amazing, specially for family. Why do I give only four stars? There are two extreme risks for babies and kids. First one: the balconies have a too low railing. All look nice, it’s just crazy risky. Second: the upper pool bar terrace has railings but the distance of each railing is way too big. Kids can easily fall down and get hurt. Dear Anantara team: please fix it! I’m still in the hotel and will show those two finding to you. Best regards.

A long-standing 5-star hotel, very Thai, the hotel lobby and rooms are very Thai-style. Although the hotel has been around for 20 years, the facilities are well maintained. The hotel front desk even upgraded my room. The service is polite and smiling, very enthusiastic! The hotel also has a very famous spa. I will stay in this hotel next time I go to Koh Samui!
