All the rooms have a fantastic view of the sea at this friendly & well run place. The swimming is lovely straight from your room & the setting is just great. There’s a great restaurant & an honesty system - you jot down what you’ve ordered and pay at the end. The electricity is advertised as being on 6pm-midnight, but was on quite a bit more than that when I was there. Lovely atmosphere & well run. My only negative - my bathroom wasn’t that clean & I had ants in my room, neither of which spoilt my stay 😁🏝️

Sawadsee is the most tranquil, peaceful, delightful place to stay looking at the beautiful bay in the most stunning tropical garden. The Bungalows are simple. There are mosquito nets for each bed. There is power for a couple of hours in the evening to charge your devices. The Bungalows are roomy with storage shelves. Simple but comfy. The verandah has a day bed and hammock. Just lovely.
The best part are the meals. Absolutely delicious 😋. Everything we ate was fabulous. The smoothies are a must as well. Fon and Nui have created a tranquil paradise for those who enjoy simplicity, no hype but just want to chill & make the most of this tranquil place 😊

We are having a wonderful stay here at Sawasdee. We have seen most of the other resorts on the island and this one is the best maintained with great attention to detail. My husband is not very mobile and Nui and Fon go out of their way to help him and make sure everything goes well for us. The restaurant serves the most wonderful fresh authentically Thai food. I am surprised that the previous reviewer says this is not a swimming beach. I swim here every day. You need to wade out to reach deep water but it is sandy with no rocks. I am also very surprised that the previous reviewer found the owners to be greedy. Our experience is that they fall over backwards to be kind, warm and generous.

The Sawasdee is a very nice, calm place with more ode less simple Bungalows directly at the beach. Healthy, good food. Well kept garden, big trees and nice furniture to rest at the water.
The Hosts were very helpful planning transportation by speedboat to Koh Phayam and Taxi to Phuket.
Only cold water and only 3 hours electricity in den evening.

Large, modern wooden bungalows set on a sandy platform overlooking the full sweep of the bay. The bungalows are very nice but you don’t get those important little extras you’d expect for the price. So you’re getting sea shack features such as no bed sheets but a tiny blanket. No electric so no kettle, fridge etc. No free drinking water. Breakfast not included. There’s an electric wall fan though: ha!. Rooms are wonderfully close to the beach and quite airy. A bit of effort from the owners and this place could be perfect.

Access to the pier is by motorcycle taxis and it’s about 5.5km along a narrow (mainly) concrete track. Boat to Ko Phayam is the one from Ranong and costs 350B.
The sea on this bay is shallow, warm and a bit muddy. There’s a number (10) of loungers and straw roofed longe shelters.
Electric on between 6 and 9 pm.
It would have been nice if the hot water, if not the coffee, was free to residents. HW is 10B, coffee 35B. Food is ok, a bit expensive and small. Beer is 110B for a big bottle. In fact they charge that little bit extra for everything here.

This is one of the nicest resort on this bay with its bungalows on the beach. Sunset resort seems nice too. Mama’s is also nice, set in a small bay with sunset views.
Nice walk along the beach to sunset bungalows via a small shop with good food and cheap beer. Theres a small river that’s easy to cross in low tide but not high tide.

This is a good island to chill but there’s not a lot to do on this island. There doesn’t seem to be a local presence offering boat trips etc. We were there in late November and most of the resorts were empty. In hindsight I much preferred Ko Phayam.
