Absolutely Wonderful Stay at Zara Beach Resort, Koh Samui!

We had an amazing time at Zara Beach Resort, it truly exceeded all our expectations! Even though it’s officially a 3-star resort, the experience felt like a 5-star stay thanks to the incredible people who run it.

Alon, the owner, is one of the friendliest and most genuine hosts we’ve met. He’s always around, easy to connect with, and truly cares about his guests’ comfort and happiness.

A special shout-out to Elaine, the hotel manager, she is simply outstanding! Professional, attentive, and hardworking, Elaine made sure we had everything we needed at all times. She goes above and beyond to make everyone feel right at home, and it really shows in the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the resort.

The resort itself is beautiful and peaceful, with a lovely vibe that perfectly captures the charm of Koh Samui.

I can wholeheartedly recommend staying at Zara Beach Resort, it may have three stars on paper, but the people behind it make it a genuine five-star experience. We’ll definitely be back! 🌴✨

I had a great stay at Zara Beach Resort. The location is perfect, the beach is right in front and there’s a massage salon just around the corner. A big night market is nearby with lots of food options and a bar that has live music, which made the evenings really fun.

I stayed in Villa number 2, which was very spacious and had a beautiful sea view. There are also many beach bars and places to go out within walking distance, so it’s easy to enjoy both relaxing and going out.

The hotel manager was always available, ready to give advice or help with taxi services and activities. Overall, Zara Beach Resort is a comfortable, well-located place.

Stayed four nights and found it good value for money. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Walking distance to the night market where there is good food and live music. Much more chilled vibe st this part of Koh Samui.

We spent two nights in a villa 5. The apartament was very good, good space and confortable. The private pool was a plus

We only had two minor issues.
- The shower wasnt very hot. Not cold, but not hot enough.
- The main AC was very noisy. But with the ceiling fans, we did not need it.

On the other hand, the recepcionist, Doob, was very very kind, she helped us in all the things we needed. Five star employee!

We stayed here for an entire week, and it was just wonderful. The absolute highlight of our stay was the staff, they are truly amazing. The manager is the kindest woman on earth, and every single person working there went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Even the owner personally takes care to help you during your stay, which made us feel incredibly warm and appreciated.
The rooms are great: comfortable, and well taken care of. We also liked that the hotel is mindful about the environment and puts ecology forward in a simple, thoughtful way. The area itself felt very safe, even walking around alone (2 girls), and it’s also really quiet despite being close to the market. Plus, you have plenty of restaurant options nearby, which was very convenient.
The restaurant is also great, they serve delicious fresh cocktails and iced coffee. The pool area is really nice, and the beach is just a short walk away.
We honestly wish we could have stayed longer. If we ever come back to Koh Samui, we would definitely choose this place again without hesitation.
We just loved everything about our time there, and we want to say a huge thank you to the entire team for making our trip so special.

The hotel is near the beach. You can walk to the sea. The rooms are clean and have a private swimming pool.

I loved everything about this place with the exception of the food and service. I had a room with multiple bedrooms and a private pool, right on the beach. The room was spectacular!
However, the menu is very limited and just not what I consider fine dining. And the service is very slow!
I would recommend staying here though!

A perfect spot for a getaway in Lamai. The room is comfortable and has all the amenities you need. The service was 10/10, staff were so helpful in assisting for airport pickups and activity planning and just general all round friendly and accomodating. Location is fantastic, right along lamai beach and super close to night markets. Can’t wait to come back!

Spacious clean comfortable rooms. Huge dining/lounge area. Nice plunge pool. Great beach access lovely clean water. Very calm for swimming.
