Reviews
The place is lovely. The room is great and the staff are very friendly. The beach is clean and so is the sea. The food here is very good.
The hotel is boutique and remote, which we like. You can easily book a cab if needed.
We would definitely return here.
- Nice sandy beach with a beautiful tree
- Great staff
- Excellent breakfast and coffee
- Few restaurants in walking distance
Negative:
- Resort is dated e.g. pool area not well maintained
- Roadside rooms are very noisy, as there is no speed limit and big trucks are passing buy regularly
There aren't any stores around but you can rent a scooter from the hotel for a fair price. We ate all three days at the hotels restaurant which was delicious and on Friday there even was a live singer.
What we appreciated the most was how friendly the staff are. They really go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay.
Right on the beach with a great pool with a view
Rooms were big and spacious.
Location is a little off from located in the west Koh Samui away from the north east Samui where there is a lot of hustle and bustle.
Breakfast menu was really great as well.
The food at the resort was bland and not worth the price. Additionally, I expected better cleanliness; our bed sheets weren’t changed throughout our stay. The only cleaning service we received was a new set of large towels and beach towels (not the small ones) and emptying the rubbish bin.
On our first night, the water stopped working in the middle of my shower, but they did manage to fix it in about 30 minutes. However, we continued to have issues with the hot water. We had booked a family villa with a swimming pool, but the water was visibly unclean, so we chose not to use it.
The massage service onsite and the ocean view from the restaurant were the only highlights of our stay. Overall, the resort feels quite outdated and in need of improvement. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday in a nice resort, I recommend seeking alternatives.
Service was great until me and my girlfriend started feeling sick from our stomach after only eating the hotel's restaurant food (stuck in bed for 3 days), when checking out I asked the receptionist about the hospital that we are going to and she said its OK, I asked for a bottle of water so that we have water for the way to the hospital after paying 45000 bht and the receptionist tells me when she comes back with a small water bottle to go to restaurant and pay them 32 bht for that water bottle.
All of that after telling her we are sick and heading to hospital.
I am deeply disappointed by this "high end" and expansive for no reason hotel.
Take into consideration the hotel's about 30 minutes drive or more to anywhere in koh samui
The best part was the service (if there was a possibility to give more than 5 stars, I would). Incredibly nice people, always checking whether you have everything you need!
The resort is on the quieter side of the island but that's what we were looking for. Staff was very helpful in getting us transportation for any trips to the other side that we wanted to take. Nathon town is also a nice nearby alternative to the shops on the other side of the island.
All in all, if I was to go again I would probably want to stay at this resort in the exact same villa. It was a wonderful experience!
