My wife and I had a delightful short escape at this lovely island resort. The place is filled with adorable peacocks all around. From our villa, we enjoyed stunning sunsets that painted the sky in hues of orange and pink. Each evening was a reminder of nature's beauty. Overall, our stay was rejuvenating and memorable, filled with laughter, exploration, and romantic moments. We left the island with our hearts full and a promise to return soon, eager to relive the magic of this beautiful getaway.

If you feel like you want to disconnect from the world digitally, here is the place for it. Food and drinks are somewhat overpriced. No WIFI except in reception area. A good digital detox place.
There are some water activities you can do while you unwind. You can kayak, snorkel, swim, or trek around the island. The trekking path isn't that well-maintained and full of uneven terrain and unclear paths. If you're up for an adventure, go for it.
The room is ok. The windows are a little too revealing in the bathroom. Our room's sink also smells like a drainage pipe, and there are some open cracks on the window that could allow insects to fly in.
The beach is amazing and the view is spectacular. The place is in dire need of some renovation and it could've been an amazing experience.

I'm absolutely loving Koh Munnork Island! It's like stepping into a postcard.
The hotel is a private paradise. The rooms are cozy and the views are stunning. I've never felt so relaxed.
A huge thank you to Ball and Zai! They've made my stay unforgettable.

We loved the island and the resort is pretty. The beach is amazing.
However compared to the price (~8k THB / night) the food is very disappointing. There is only one place to eat on the island.
We found that the only menu items we liked were kaprow, sea bass with lime, chicken wings, calamari, somtam. The other dishes we tried were not as good as I would expect for that price.
Also the service was not great. The staff were helpful when asked but not very proactive. It wasn't clear that there was a manager / owner there who was ensuring that customers got the experience they paid for.
The resort is pet friendly. If you bring a pet you can only stay in the bungalows though. Which are bigger but perhaps not the best rooms.
Would go again for 2 nights max. Not very soon though.

Incredible location, stunning beaches. Very relaxed. Service is a bit lazy, not much in the way of going the extra mile. Because it is the only resort on the island, there is no competition. Guests are a captive audience. Food is average, you can't order coffee like cappuccino at breakfast until after breakfast (??), The bar closes at 9pm when they start turning the lights off. Staff are friendly enough but not proactive. food and drink prices are a little on the high side Could be excellent if they thought more from the guest point of view, rather than fitting the guests around their convenience.

A little pearl, just 2 hours drive from Bangkok. If you like back to basics and a few days just to relax, this is the place. Nice and helpful staff will make your say unforgettable!

Beautiful and peaceful island. If you like snorkeling you must come! Accommodation is very good, the bed really comfortable and the food is delicious!

The island itself is amazing. My husband and I bought a two night stay package which included our meal plan. The food was sooo fresh and great! But one very important thing to keep in mind, the island doesnt provide power for 24hrs...so be prepared for the weather! You can be definitely melting!!

My mother visited Koh Munnork in Rayong, Thailand recently and shared these 5 images with me. I'm sure it does not provide complete justice as to how beautiful this island was. This is the only resort on the island, and is available for approximately $100-$120/night depending on the time of the year you're booking. I know I'll soon go myself!

Literally one of the best place I've been to, even in the middle of rainly season the weather is SO NICE everything was beautiful!! I was there with a group of friends and we only speak at and after dinner because I spent the days snorkeling! Beautiful field of soft corals on one side and hard corals on the other side. The food at the resort are all very tasty and flavorful, reasonable price and staffs are very well trained and friendly! Cannot wait to come back here!!! Strongly recommend to everyone, guarantee you'll have the best time here!

It does 2-2.3 hours drive from bangkok to the pier at Rayong takes half an hour ferry to island
