This hotel is truly exceptional, featuring its own private beach and expansive swimming pools that provide a perfect setting for relaxation and leisure. Although this city is not frequently visited by tourists, it offers a wonderful atmosphere for a holiday getaway.

At this hotel, you'll find everything you need for a delightful stay. The amenities include a luxurious spa, a well-equipped gym, and several restaurants that cater to a variety of tastes. There’s also a lively bar where you can unwind with a drink after a day of exploring.

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful and enjoyable vacation!

Rayong Marriott has been a pleasant surprise stay. The property is on a huge land, which makes the public facilities spacious for everyone. The hotel has been around for 12 years - the amenities and rooms have seen better days. For business sustainability, I hope the owners will consider regular upgrade.

The wifi is strong throughout the spacious property, something not common even in small property.

The beanbag by the beach is a great idea.

We had dinner at the Fish Bar twice. The meals prepared by the very talented young and promising Chef Aof was unexpectedly WOW ! It’s a must go when you are at this hotel.

One area of improvement is the quality and presentation of the breakfast at C Salt Cafe. The selection is wide. But the food looked sad. Sometimes it’s not what you add extra to the buffet but what should be removed.

One special feature of the hotel is its people. The warm service given by all the F&B staff has been excellent. Special mention to Khun Joy, Beauty, Sorn, Noom, and extra special mention to Director of F&B Mattias Pawlik for putting the human touch to the hospitality business. You lead by example and you set the bar high to what good service looks like.

This is not up to the 5-star Marriott standard. I was very disappointed. The furniture in the room was old and extremely dirty, with dust in every corner. The closet had a musty smell, like old shoes, and there were cobwebs in several spots. The coffee provided was cheap 3-in-1, something even 3 or 4-star hotels don’t use. Worst of all was the bed—it was completely unusable, sagging in the middle, which gave me terrible back pain. Another issue was that the room was not soundproof. I could hear the people in the neighboring room talking all night. This was the worst stay I’ve ever experienced. I will definitely not be returning.

P.s. The only good thing was the service from the staff in the breakfast area.

Rooms are great both moutain view or sea view. Nice and clean. When there is a problem with air condition, the hotel sent engineer to fix it promptly.

Reception service is very good too, accommodate as special request for extra bed for my kids and late check out.

Food at hotel is superb, good quality and tasty.

Improvement: would be best to have menu from each restaurant available online or in room for guests to check and see.

I very rarely review but will do so others are not disappointed. This property does not meet the Marriott standards and is in need of maintenance. Just one example: the aquarium doesn’t have any fish in it. It also caters to large noisy overnight bus tour groups - you can forget a peaceful breakfast and instead wait in queues for your food. Can see more on shortcomings from the pictures. All staff were very nice and trying their best.

First of all, shout out to Ake, Kat, Im & Pang at the C Salt - Restaurant.

I would like to give the hotel 4,5 but thats not possible so I think it is really hard to decide if it is a 4 or a 5. But the price of the rooms, the friendly staff and the good prices at the bars make it a 5 instead of a 4.

Location is a little remote, but right on the beach. And there is a massage place, a small shop (Ice cream, Beer, Snacks, soda) and a lady that washes clothes.

The Hotel has 1 big pool and 1 smaller. The big 1 has a small water slide.

There is 2 restaurants and a pool-bar and a lounge bar.

The poolbar and the lounge bar has Happy hour after each other so thats 4hours of happy hour on drinks.

Did not use the kids club.

The gym has some cardio machines and dumbells up to 20kg. Would like to see heavier weights but it is a hotel. There is also a CX but I miss some attachments (rope).

The best thing with this Hotel is the staff, the beach and the big pools.

Things that could improve is the rooms (ability to stream to TVs), The gym (more equipment) and the breakfast options for kids.

The hotel is quite old, and the service is slow. We stayed during a long weekend. Upon returning at 4:00 p.m., we encountered the housekeeper in front of our room. However, the room hadn't been cleaned. They presented two options: to forego cleaning the room or to wait for 20 minutes. We contacted the front desk. The staff member simply apologized and requested that we accept the situation due to the long weekend.

As the long weekend is approaching, all resources should have been well prepared. Expecting guests who paid full price to accept the consequences of poor management is unacceptable.

The breakfast is good, but there weren't enough tables for all the waiting guests. The facilities are great, especially the gym and the pool.

Best welcome.

The arrangement by the hotel was at their best.
Arrangements for all types of Indian cuisines were available.
Temperature controlled swimming pool.
One cannot forget Pool side party that's really on beach.

Staff are friendly.

The service staff is generally great, however after dinner we called a buggy, which was taken by other guests making us wait for over 20 minutes. The rooms have some maintenance issues and the awesome views are marred by dirty windows (should be cleaned more often). Breakfast was adequate. They do honor platinum elite upgrades when available which is appreciated. There’s no indoor/shaded parking available either.

- Cannot contact hotel via phone from outside around 9 p.m. as staff tell me.
- Mistake communication on promotion of dinner package on Saturday.
- Room still not clean as sand and wet on floor in room.
- Staff on front counter do not truely to support for miss of glasswear at swimming pool.
