I had a wonderful stay! The front desk staff were very polite, friendly, and provided excellent service from the moment I arrived.

The food was absolutely delicious — I especially loved the salmon, which was fresh and perfectly prepared.

The room was new, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. In-room amenities were excellent and made the stay even more enjoyable.

The private onsen was peaceful and quiet. The bathroom was exceptionally clean.

Overall, I was very impressed and would definitely love to stay here again!

Staying at Onsen @ Moncham was like stepping into a dream. Nestled in the cool mountains of Chiang Mai, the hotel is surrounded by stunning views, fresh air, and a sense of calm you can’t find in the city.

The Japanese-inspired design is elegant and serene, blending perfectly with the natural beauty around it. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and came with breathtaking mountain views right from the balcony. The bed was so comfortable it felt like sleeping on clouds.

The onsen experience itself was pure bliss — crystal-clear mineral water, warm enough to melt away every bit of stress. After a soak, I felt completely refreshed and recharged. The spa services were equally top-notch, with staff who were professional, caring, and attentive.

The food was a delightful surprise — beautifully presented dishes combining Thai flavors with Japanese touches, served in a peaceful setting.

What truly makes this place special is the hospitality. Every staff member was warm, polite, and went above and beyond to make my stay perfect.

✨A hidden gem I didn't think I'd love this much

I stayed here in late July, right during the rainy season. I booked very last-minute and had almost no expectations, but I was impressed right from the moment I drove up to park. A staff member quickly ran out to welcome me; everyone was lovely and took very good care of us.

Even though it was drizzling, the air was actually very good, fresh, and the view was absolutely stunning. Every staff member I met was lovely, friendly, and genuinely had a service mind.

I got to try an aromatherapy massage with Khun Pui, and I can say in one word, it was the best massage I've ever had in my life. My partner had a massage with Khun Jay and said it was so relaxing he dozed off.

Dinner was another highlight. Although the price was a little on the high side, it was truly worth every baht. The ingredients were excellent, the flavors were delicious, and the staff were extremely professional. Breakfast was just as good.

If your room has a private onsen, I recommend asking the staff to set the water temperature for you. They set it to the absolute perfect temperature. Loved it.
When checking out, I suddenly realized I had left something in the safe. The hotel handled it with great professionalism and care, which impressed me even more.

In conclusion, this is a hotel I highly recommend. On this trip, I might have gotten lucky with the cool, comfortable weather, but I truly believe the core of what makes this place so special is the wonderfully warm hospitality and the beautiful atmosphere.

We stayed at Onsen@Moncham for just one night, but it was truly unforgettable. As a couple looking for a peaceful escape, this place was everything we hoped for and more. The private onsen in the evening was such a special experience—serene, calming, and surrounded by nature. Afternoon tea with that stunning mountain view was another highlight, absolutely picture-perfect. The entire resort has such a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, it really matched our vibe. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive from check-in to check-out. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about our next visit!

Yes, come here, people who come here will definitely like the atmosphere.

The atmosphere is good. The food is very tasty. All the staff are great. There is a chance to stay again.

Wow the Onsen at Moncham resort is simply an 'oasis of peace and tranquility, perfect for being able to disconnect and find inner peace.
The resort is based on the concept of sustainability and contact with nature, and this is what we appreciated most.
There are beautiful animals: rabbits, ducks, swans that reign in this beautiful Japanese garden.
Inside the resort there is also the natural hot springs and it is fabulous. It is divided into men and women but you can also book a pool with a garden where there is no such division.
The food is just fantastic, from the breakfast which is freshly prepared to avoid waste, to the choice of menu with various options (my girlfriend is vegetarian and the attention of the chef and staff in the dining room was fantastic, there are so many options).
We also enjoyed an excellent one-hour massage, which I recommend, to complete the relaxation after the hot water bath.
Thank you to all the staff, it was a wonderful experience, we recommend this beautiful resort to everyone!!!

Feedback for improvement : probably explain to the customer better the various services available in the hotel (we only understood about the massage because we asked the staff), also the area around the hotel has very good things to see and it would probably be great to explain to the customer the various possibilities in the surroundings or organize Daily trip in the surroundings or have the possibility to rent a scooter.

If you're all about privacy, you gotta check this place out. Even though there are other guests, it's super chill and not crowded at all, perfect for just relaxing. I was walking around the hotel and saw bunnies running around, which is honestly so awesome. And the service? Way better than 5 stars!

This is easily one of my favorite resort. I have stayed in in my traveling time. I came across this place when I was looking for a hotel during the lantern festival in Chiang Mai though it is away from the city center area. It’s a perfect place for a quick getaway or just relaxing weekend. The room is very spacious and the room that I booked had two onsens and they also have a public onsen. The breakfast was amazing. All the staff are very friendly and kind. Even though I stayed only a day I really really loved this place if I ever come back to Chiang Mai again I will definitely visit it. Thank you for having me see you guys next time.
