Great view great service

A well maintained resort high in mountain in Mon Jam. A pity is that the public onsen has not much views. Still a good place to chill and decompress.

Very good service and it was a quiet and quaint area for someone who wants yo unwind

I had a wonderful stay! The front desk staff were very polite, friendly, and provided excellent service from the moment I arrived.

The food was absolutely delicious — I especially loved the salmon, which was fresh and perfectly prepared.

The room was new, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. In-room amenities were excellent and made the stay even more enjoyable.

The private onsen was peaceful and quiet. The bathroom was exceptionally clean.

Overall, I was very impressed and would definitely love to stay here again!

Staying at Onsen @ Moncham was like stepping into a dream. Nestled in the cool mountains of Chiang Mai, the hotel is surrounded by stunning views, fresh air, and a sense of calm you can’t find in the city.

The Japanese-inspired design is elegant and serene, blending perfectly with the natural beauty around it. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and came with breathtaking mountain views right from the balcony. The bed was so comfortable it felt like sleeping on clouds.

The onsen experience itself was pure bliss — crystal-clear mineral water, warm enough to melt away every bit of stress. After a soak, I felt completely refreshed and recharged. The spa services were equally top-notch, with staff who were professional, caring, and attentive.

The food was a delightful surprise — beautifully presented dishes combining Thai flavors with Japanese touches, served in a peaceful setting.

What truly makes this place special is the hospitality. Every staff member was warm, polite, and went above and beyond to make my stay perfect.

The service - impeccable - including fresh PJs and some cakes at 5 pm with fresh tea served in the room.
The onsem - the public one but also the private one are superb .

✨A hidden gem I didn't think I'd love this much

I stayed here in late July, right during the rainy season. I booked very last-minute and had almost no expectations, but I was impressed right from the moment I drove up to park. A staff member quickly ran out to welcome me; everyone was lovely and took very good care of us.

Even though it was drizzling, the air was actually very good, fresh, and the view was absolutely stunning. Every staff member I met was lovely, friendly, and genuinely had a service mind.

I got to try an aromatherapy massage with Khun Pui, and I can say in one word, it was the best massage I've ever had in my life. My partner had a massage with Khun Jay and said it was so relaxing he dozed off.

Dinner was another highlight. Although the price was a little on the high side, it was truly worth every baht. The ingredients were excellent, the flavors were delicious, and the staff were extremely professional. Breakfast was just as good.

If your room has a private onsen, I recommend asking the staff to set the water temperature for you. They set it to the absolute perfect temperature. Loved it.
When checking out, I suddenly realized I had left something in the safe. The hotel handled it with great professionalism and care, which impressed me even more.

In conclusion, this is a hotel I highly recommend. On this trip, I might have gotten lucky with the cool, comfortable weather, but I truly believe the core of what makes this place so special is the wonderfully warm hospitality and the beautiful atmosphere.

We stayed at Onsen Moncham as a couple and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and generous. We were pleasantly surprised when they upgraded our room to the best category free of charge - we are very grateful for this gesture.

The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning surroundings and outstanding rooms that are both spacious and comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was the onsen area, where we could enjoy a private soak in several different pools and baths. It was the perfect way to relax and unwind.

We stayed at Onsen@Moncham for just one night, but it was truly unforgettable. As a couple looking for a peaceful escape, this place was everything we hoped for and more. The private onsen in the evening was such a special experience—serene, calming, and surrounded by nature. Afternoon tea with that stunning mountain view was another highlight, absolutely picture-perfect. The entire resort has such a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, it really matched our vibe. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive from check-in to check-out. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about our next visit!
