The Imperial Hotel & Convention Centre Korat

I have used this hotel several times over the years. Now an oldie but really goodie Hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helllpful. The room was super large (with sufficient lighting options), as was the bathroom and its excellent shower. Unlike modern hotel standard rooms this room boasted 3 chairs as well as a coffee table plus lots of space to set up and use their wifi. Everything worked in the room. We had no time to enjoy the food owing to a tight travel schedule, but I would stay at this hotel again despite the number of newer competitors.

A good hotel with full facilities. Easy to find. Large parking lot. There is a great chinese resraurant within. Small bar at the lobby. The room and entire hotel is quite old. Some noises coming from nearby night market. The service was good and the price was reasonable.

I had a decent priced deal on Agoda. This is a very nice, well kept, older hotel that really exceeds expectations for the price I paid. I don't know if you can find it for under 1000 baht, but if you can, don't even be slightly afraid to pull the trigger on that deal. It included all you can eat international breakfast. Wow. The beds are comfortable. The furniture attractive. The water runs at the temperature you like. The fridge works great. TV has a ton of channels, decent pic (about 32 inch screen), plenty of lighting, plenty of storage, a safe, a working desk, functional AC, strong WiFi, very helpful an attentive staff. Just wow!

Well located hotel. Big hotel with 2 pools. Furnishing a little dated but comfortable. Room lighting tripped but quickly corrected.

This was a good value hotel experience for my one night stay during a business trip.

The hotel is next to two bustling night markets and within easy walking distance of shopping complexes, bars, cafes, and nightlife.

The breakfast buffet was good and there was a nice selection. My room was fine, everything was clean, and the amenities were all I required.

The furniture is getting a bit worn in the rooms but I was still quite satisfied.

This was probably a gem about 20 years ago, so it's getting a little older, but the common rooms are still lovely with nice interior design, lots of marble, and a very comfortable feeling.

Staff speaks good English and was very attentive with easy check-in.

The swimming pool was being serviced, so I wasn't able to use it, and the hotel has a small but complete fitness center.

A large lounge area just off the lobby was perfect for business meetings. I can recommend this hotel and will return.

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel the public areas were kept very clean and the staff were very helpful. The room was adequate for what we required. We would have liked to use the swimming pool but the weather was against us. The breakfast was good but very Thai oriented but I was able to enjoy something each morning.

Nice hotel at a cheap price. In needs of renovation for sure but the price is reasonable. There is a huge car park available, a restaurant, fitness, swimming pool and it’s rather quiet.
