Always a pleasure to stay at Mut Mee.

Though the last time I was there was 9 years ago I really enjoyed my stay there.
Twice!

ps: Both times I stayed at the single room facing the river.
Admittedly the only thing I didn't enjoy was the loud sound of people walking upstairs. Very loud.

The Mut Mee is the best. I love the style of the rooms and the view of the river is amazing. They have an outdoor lunch/chilling area which is very nice and some locals love to come chill here. Everyone was very friendly to me. Get some Khao Piak and enjoy your food with a great view of the Mekong River. Can't wait to come back.

Cozy Stay at Mut Mee Guesthouse!

I had a lovely stay at Mut Mee Guesthouse! 🏡 The vibes here are amazing—so many trees and friendly cats roaming around, which really adds to the charm. 🌳🐱 The atmosphere is cozy, friendly, and super welcoming, making me feel right at home.

I especially enjoyed the nearby shops, Hornbills book shop and Nongkhai & Friends Library, which added a unique touch to the experience. 📚✨ My room was simple and small with one bed and a fan (no air conditioning), but November weather was comfortable enough. Since it’s an open-air room, I did notice a few mosquitoes, but they provide a mosquito net, which is helpful.

The shared bathroom was basic with warm water (though it wasn’t working in my room), and it doesn’t have a bidet. But these were minor things for me because the overall vibe and location right next to the Mae Khong River made it worthwhile! 🌅
