Benjamin's Hut

The team in Benjamin's Hut is the best, people are so friendly, the rooms are nice and have everything you need and the locations is just incredible!

We extended three times, really liked the rooms, the garden, the nice bar/restaurant at the beach and the friendly staff. Pretty high standard and good location :) we will come back!

I have to give Benjamin's Hut 5* even if there was a hiccup mid way through my stay.

The location was perfect for me, right on the beach, walkable to cafes, yoga etc

Benjamin's Hut has so many beautiful plants, a great pool, lovely bar/restaurant (with great staff!) and is really clean and well maintained (they never stop cleaning/sweeping).

The bungalow was simple but very clean with a comfy bed. There was some issues with the toilet - never seemed to flush properly and one of the curtains didn't reach all the way across the window so it was lucky I bought an eye mask with me (there's bright lights outside the rooms to help if coming in late).

My bungalow had a little kitchenette - which was great but the fridge froze all my food (even when turned down), the microwave - great but no plates or bowls to put in the microwave (the plates provided too big and the bowls plastic/non microwavable) so that was odd. I made scrambled eggs once in a cup the rest of time I ate out in the end (which was no problem really).

The only issue of the stay was noise. This wasn't really the hotels fault but the guests. There was a gang of guys in their 20's who wear very noisy, and one night kept me awake til almost 3am. The next morning I complained and the owner said several people had complained. The rest of the nights were fine. This group of guys also higged the pool area and as a solo female it was intimidating to go to the pool when they were there.

I ate food a couple of times at the restaurant, it was very good! I also became addicted to this Ginger, Lemon, Honey tea flask they serve, it was amazing and I had it everyday! Everything was made with such care and attention.

There is a cute book swap area where I left a book and took another.

It is on the beach, in the morning. you can't swim but that because of the tides, you can also walk like 2 mins to the left to a beachy/swim area. I also walked up to Haad Yao which is nice too.

I would really recommend Benjamin's Hut, and I would stay again.

Excellent stay! We stayed 10 nights, and it’s much better than it even seems online. Room was very nice, bike rental good value at 200B/d, great quiet location for the bungalows. We’d stay again! Wish the restaurant had clearer protein-rich vegan/vegetarian options, but that’s a very special preference and plenty of places nearby.

Best resort on Koh Phangan and even all of Thailand in our opinion❤️ Third time visiting and already planning on coming back for three weeks next year!

Clam, relaxing and serene atmosphere with simple but beautiful bungalows. The lovely Thai family who owns the place has made the entire resort into a lush and green botanical garden with an awesome pool and a great restaurant and bar. The best beach on the island is just steps from your bungalow!

The staff is super cute and friendly, always smiling and will do their best to make your stay amazing
