Mida Grande Resort Phuket Official Account

We recently stayed at the Mida Grande Resort in Phuket for a family vacation, and overall, it was a memorable experience especially if you’re staying in one of their villas. We had a beautiful three-bedroom villa complete with a private pool. The rooms were very spacious, tastefully designed with modern interiors, and the bathrooms were exceptionally clean.

The staff were warm and welcoming, reflecting the renowned Thai hospitality, which we truly appreciated. However, we found the main restaurant to be slightly outdated, with limited dining options. Given Thailand’s rich culinary scene, we were hoping for a more diverse and appealing menu. Unfortunately, the food selection didn’t quite meet our expectations.

While the hotel appeared to be fully booked, it never felt crowded. The main pool area is relatively small, which might explain why it was often quiet. That said, the rooftop pool was a highlight offering stunning sunset views and a great bar to unwind in the evenings.

One area for improvement is the breakfast offering. Coming from the Middle East, we had higher expectations, particularly around the variety of fruits available. Despite Thailand’s incredible fruit selection, the breakfast buffet was quite limited — with some mornings offering only watermelon.

In summary, if you’re booking a villa, the Mida Grande Resort is a great choice for families. It provides privacy, comfort, and a peaceful atmosphere — a lovely setting for a relaxing stay in Phuket.

The staff are super friendly, Bao, Jack & the whole team provided an outstanding service and nothing was too much trouble! The room was always clean and the food of a good standard! I would definitely be more than happy to come back again! Phuket is a beautiful place too, and the locals are so lovely and helpful. 😄

Our stay at Mida Grande was lovely. We went for the all include package which included a large menu and selection of drinks to choose from (the actual menu’s were affordable and lots to choose from too for anyone that wanted just room). The staff were so lovely and made us feel super welcome. Areas are clean and pools were a great place to relax. Hotel is a short walk from Surin beach in a very quiet yet friendly area. All other tourist places are a cab journey away.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Rooms marked down for dirty shower train and lots of dust under the bed. Otherwise the room was lovely and bed was very comfortable.
The staff are lovely, so friendly and helpful especially my personal favourite An be sure to have a chat with him he's such a lovely guy.
Location was perfect for my needs, a little outside of the nightlife and mayhem. So I could pick it up and put it down as I please.
I would stay again.

We had a great stay at Mida, the location of the hotel is very good, you have great access to most of the beaches. Best option to move around is a scooter or a motorbike, since beaches are kinda close. We didn’t use all the facilities, like the gym or the spa, but the pools a nice. Staff is very nice, always ready to help. we contracted the motorbike with their help. The rooms are nice, you have enough space to store things around. Beds are great, and the cleaning staff changed our bed sheets and our towels daily. I strongly recommend the hotel.

The hotel is fresh, modern, for lovers of healthy lifestyle (there are gyms in each building), not crowded yet. For those who prefer a quiet, calm, healthy vacation, this is the place to go.

New, beautiful, well thought out. Several pools on the roof, a pool downstairs, showers everywhere, saunas. The bars have delicious coffee at the usual price of 100 baht.

The scenery here is amazing, and the swimming pool is absolutely beautiful! The rooms are well-equipped with a washing machine, microwave, and other essentials, making it very convenient for a longer stay. The only downside is that you have to walk uphill to get to the resort, but this also means the location is very peaceful and secluded. Overall, a great place to relax and unwind!
