Lime Soda Beachfront Resort

Nice hotel, Nice restaurant with great staf. Rooms are pretty New. Location is near pier en near Saturday night market.

Great and clean hotel. Located just a few minutes walking distance from the port we arrived by ferry. The rooms very spacious, bright and clean. We very much liked the hight of the ceiling, it gave so much more space plus the effect during a rainy night was just beautiful. 
The facilities overall very well maintained and interior well balanced to the entire concept. Walking distance to the pier, as well as to the night markets or the local walking street. 
We very much enjoyed the stay and would consider coming back anytime again.

The location is very nice the hotel is very beautiful but I visited with the rain there are no umbrellas in the room and the quality of breakfast was low the staff at the front desk very nice and friendly. Should be better with the price I paid

We do certainly not understand the bad evaluations. The room was so pretty, clean and the round shape was unique. Especially the bathroom was big, beautifully furnished and hygienic.
The beach was super nice to sit at and especially in the evening the view was magnificent.
We would definitely come back to this place!

Better than I ever thought on pictures, so pretty and there is a great pool, private beach, table tennis, volleyball and pool. The owner even gave us a drink on the house because it had been raining! So perfect.

The hotel was great! I loved everything about it~ it was so cute! The food was good, i don’t usually like pad thai but their’s was awesome! Breakfast was good except if you stay there for a while it gets boring~ i was there for five nights and wished they had more! I took a star away from the cleanliness only because the bathroom did smell a little but it wasn’t something that couldn’t be handled. All in all i had a really nice and relaxing stay there!

Very cosy and lovely resort right in front of the beach. Spent 7 nights here. Nicely decorated cottages and a big outside pool let you feel very comfortable here - especially when the weather isn't the best as we had a lot of wind and also some rain during the stay. The staff is very kind and help you with everything you need.

Just some minor critics to mention:

-We had lots of mosquitoes (german: keine Gelsen, sondern kleine Mücken) in the room. They were harmless and didn't attack you, but there were so many, that we didn't feel comfortable at all times. I think it had something to do with the sewerage, because we smelled it a little bit in the bathroom.

-The roof of the "Coco" cottages is not isolated. So when it is windy, you feel like sleeping in a tent, because the wind is going through the roof. Once, after there was a rainshower, the room was dirty, because of the straw that came of the roof. I complaint about that at the reception and they offered me another room, but I rejected and just insisted that it would be cleaned, what they did immediately.

-They charge you 200 Baht (2 persons) for picking/bringing you to the pier. That was free of charge in all other hotels we stayed in during three weeks in Thailand. As you just walk around 10min from the pier to the hotel, I recommend spending the money on some good food! ;)

-Restaurant is a little bit pricey for Thailand conditions

Nevertheless we had a wonderful time here and I would definitely book it again, but only if there is a "Lime" or a "Soda" cottage available. I liked the form of the "Coco's" as it is a homage to the italian trulli, but they need to fix the roof...

This beach resort has a beautiful outdoor area! As soon as you enter the hotel you are greeted by a lush outdoor space surrounded by palm trees and sand to walk on. I loved that!

Since you can‘t really swim in the ocean, as the water is too shallow, i appreciated the pool. Although it was a bit small, it was still enjoyable to relax and get into the water to refresh.

The food from the restaurant was good, but more on the expensive side compared to prices on the island.

Staff was very nice and kind to me!

Good location: You‘re in walking distance from various restaurants, the Food court and seven-11. Can also rent a scooter in the same street as hotel.

My room was nice overall, clean sheets & towels, functioning aircon and enough space.
Complaints i do have though are:
-Mosquitos somehow kept getting into my room which was annoying. I‘m guessing they got in through the entrance door, as there was a visible gap when fully closed.
-The shower wasn‘t designed well. While showering the bathroom floor would get totally wet as the protective glass, which should keep the water in the shower, was on the other side of where the shower head was, so water just kept pouring onto the bathroom floor.
-My aircon kept putting out some loud, annoying noise. It sounded like a generator directly behind the bedroom wall, which was on 80% of the time while the aircon was on.

Have to mention the taxi transfer service aswell. Days before checking in, the hotel contacted me asking if i‘d like a transfer (think it was 200 baht) from the pier to the hotel. I booked the transfer and communicated all relevant information to the hotel. (departure & arrival time, ferry operator)
Well, when i arrived at the pier everyone was picked up except for me. Half an hour later my transfer still wasn‘t there and i was the last person on the pier. I contacted the hotel and asked where the driver was… they said they‘ll call him. Shortly after he arrived, but i was mildly annoyed that the pre-booked transfer didn‘t work smoothly.

To sum things up:

Positives:
-Beautiful beach resort with lush, relaxing outdoor area.
-Swimming Pool
-Good food and drinks (although expensive)
-Friendly staff
-Good location in close proximity to restaurants, Food court & Seven-11

Negatives:
-Transfer service
-Rooms should be made mosquito proof, so they can‘t get in through the door.
-Minor issues with my room (shower & aircon noise)

Overall i‘d recommend this resort to other travellers as i had a very nice time to relax here.
