Thumrin Hotel, I guess was beautiful and modern may by 20 - 30 years ago...
Now, thought it is very clean it really needs refreshing... The rooms are specious, very clean so is the bathroom
Nice white clean lynen and towels. No kettle in the room. Also no breakfast in the hotel. But the morning local market is near by, where you can buy cheap food starting very early in the morning. The hotel is very close to night market walking street that operate all week besides thuersdays
It's a few steps from the train station. There is also a good massage shop a few steps at the corner opposite the train station. There is 7/11 very close by and more eateries - good eateries
All in all its recommended for a 1 night sleep on the way to or from the islands nearby

Transportation Prices there are reasonable - it's the same prices as 12go

Its a classic setup of room.
Near to railway station.
Easy to get halal food. Just walking to behind of the hotel.
During weekend it has night market.

Old hotel but very clean and friendly service. Reasonable price.

Room was clean. 1st room windows wouldn't lock. Moved. 2nd room no wifi reception via computer. No internet in lobby either. Won't be spending anymore money in this town. Best thing abut this hotel is it is very near the train station to escape. Will not be back.

Air con so cool. Only sad the TV is very old. Staff very friendly. But not the night shift guy . Near to night market. Convenient a lot of street food and restaurants nearby. Just walk. And bank. 10minuted to Robinson

Town area in Trang District ,easy to access to railway station, halal food easy to access by walking in 1-2 minutes.
Parking is available. The room is a comfort even the design is old school.

This is a beautiful old building. It is currently under renovation. My stay was very disappointing. I had no wifi at all in my room and the hotel was very dirty. The fire escape was completely blocked in multiple places. I arranged for a late check out and a refund of my last night's stay.. But when I checked out they refused to give me the refund and refused to let me stay alsoั, so they stole my money from me. Why a hotel xhain would treat customers like this is hard to understand. Nobody could speak English and I was unable to to do any of my online work and husiness. Not recommended at all. Customer service is awful. It is very hard to find a good place to stay in Trang.
I wa offered to move to their other hotel but after such awful treatment, I would never stay in any hotels owned by this company due to poor management and the disrespectful way that I was treated. I was left with nowhere to stay because of this rude and illegal behavior by this hotel chain. The hotel should be shut down in the interests of public safety until renovations are complete. I do.not advise traveller's to come to trang as the place is not friendly to foreigners at all.

This place is a gem. A retro experience, it's like staying in an antique. Rooms are very clean and recently painted. The staff were helpful and cheerful. It's reminiscent of an old train car. There aren't a lot of electrical receptacles, so you may have to charge one device at a time. I have mobile data, so I don't care if WiFi is stable or not.

Awful. Nothing works here. Bad air conditioning, wifi doesn't work, rooms are so old, bed is hard as a rock. Toilet leaks water. Very bad!
