Money was stolen from our room. If you stay here, make sure to keep your valuables in the locker. Unfortunatelly neither hotel management nor police can do anything about it. The hotel does not bear responsibility for it, they literally told me it was my own fault to keep valuables out of the locker (as written in their hotel policy). The police came and repeated the same, also mentioning it will be impossible to find the thief and "in the end it was not such a big money". The hotel and police told us that it never happened in this hotel, but I found at least two reviews with money/valuable items theft on Agoda and Booking, one in November 2024. It was a very unpleasant experience overall, especially as we liked Udon Thani and had a nice time for the rest. The hotel manager tried to help us, checked with the staff who was cleaning the room, called the police for us and tried to view the CCTV, but no results unfortunatelly. In the end they gave us a discount for laundry and a minibar (which was just a partial reimbursement of the money which were stolen.)

Being more expensive than other hotels in the area and also high for the region, the Pannarai Hotel has a higher bar to clear for me to recommend it. It didn’t.
The facilities (pool, etc.) were nice and the room was clean. No problems there. I did have issues in other areas, however.
I had to wait for housekeeping to finish on multiple days , even though they were given essentially an entire afternoon to get to it.
Breakfast was not included so I only tried it on one day and found it expensive (300 THB) and mediocre.
They have room service which comes from their restaurant. It was overpriced and not very good. I was charged 200 THB for a broken glass which was pretty outrageous. My small snack ended up costing me over 600 THB which is so far beyond normal for Udon Thani (or really even Thailand in general).
There is an itemized list of what you will be charged if you indulge in the minibar. There is no water listed on it. Additionally, it is pretty standard for the bottles of water to be provided free of charge. Apparently not in this case! I was charged 45 THB for having one.
This is a prime example of pennywise but pound foolish. They are supposed to be a luxury hotel but don’t seem to understand the meaning of hospitality. Leaving a bad impression couldn’t possibly be worth these unjustified charges!
I was asked upon checkout to give a review which is also in poor taste. Unfortunately for them, I will oblige them with my poor experience.
I do not recommend this hotel both in terms of hospitality and on value.

Rooms are big and clean in a good location but aircon in my room is old and not working. Changed rooms 2nd better but not good. Had to wait a long time for the AC to get cold. Hotel is very clean and staff are nice. Just can’t give 5 stars because of AC.

From visiting different hotels in the same street, it is my opinion that you can find a better hotel with a better price and service. I will not come back here again!

Room was clean and comfortable. Service was outstanding. At night could faintly hear music and shouting from the nearby bars. Excellent breakfast available nearby at the Morning House restaurant

I have stayed here a couple of times and in generel I have had some good stays here. The rooms are nice and clean but not brand new. Nice bathroom and also good balconies and a good working air conditioning. Walking distance within a few minutes from 7/11, restaurants and bars. A bit disappointing that you still have to pay for upgrade even though you are a Agoda platinum vip member. If they commit to something they should do it fully and that’s why I can’t give them 5 starts. They have a good size pool and their breakfast is very good

Excellent service from cheerful staff. Really nice room big size with huge bed. fully stocked minibar. Three bottles of free drinking water 2 in main room and another in bathroom along with full range of complementary toiletry Inc shaving kit which I very rarely see offered in hotels of this price range. Overall very nice stay will recommend it to anyone staying in udon Thani.

If you are looking for a cheap/ affordable hotel, you can consider this. Room is clean but the lobby has a funky smell. Service is good where they provide room cleaning everyone. The hotel comes with a very small gym (two treadmills and one bench) and a small pool. Breakfast is okay, nothing fancy.
Do note that the hotel is located just beside the drinking street (Day & Night) which might not be child friendly.

The hotel is very pleasant and the rooms are nice, the balconies are very small and there is no seating for them. You would have trouble fitting a regular sized chair on them.
The staff are lovely and very polite and attentive.
The location is good and close to central shopping mall. There are a couple of loud music venues close so you can hear the thump thump during the afternoon and evening. This is not the hotels fault.
Bars have to close at midnight, so it wont keep you up too late. Overall one of the better options for Udon Thani.

Excellent hotel next to the Central in Udon. Nice little well kept pool with sun spots and shade under the trees. Excellent breakfast buffet served already at 0600 definitely beyond this price range comparable to a 5 star hotel.
