istanbul Airport Kumsal Mini-hotel

Like many, we were spending a night in Turkey before going on another flight. This budget hotel is a good option and has a nice view

The hotel is good for 1-3 nights between flights to catch your breath and gain strength.
It is located on the seashore, a beautiful view from the window.

A taxi from the airport will cost about $20, keep this in mind, even if the hotel owner tells you that the return trip will be cheaper. This is Istanbul, and here you need to agree on prices in advance)

Not a bad hotel for the money

We came to sleep before the transfer. The sea view from the window is good. The entrance to the sea is stones and small pebbles/sand. In their restaurant - they can cheat - there were different employees - they ordered the same dish - each time a different price). And the downside to organizing a transfer from the airport is something for that kind of money (70 euros there back). (The road there is about 20 minutes). The car itself is good, the driver is too - but the transfer organizers are terrible - they waited 40 minutes at night. As for the hotel, the neighboring ones look better in appearance. And if you come to sleep, it’s a quiet place.

It’s good for staying over for a night to catch another flight as the hotel is near IST airports. Staffs there are nice and helpful.

Spent 2 nights in this hotel. The location is ideal, not far from Istanbul New Airport. If you want sights, go the other way, there is only peace, the sea, and planes taking off. The rooms all have balconies overlooking the sea, the beach is cleaned every morning and is generally clean. The menu is not large, but quite varied, and the portions are large. Someone complained in the reviews about being ripped off - this is a lie. Everything has a fixed price. The staff is just super. They will solve all your problems. They will change money, help with calling a taxi...Very nice people. I will definitely return to this hotel again. Cobwebs in the corners are nothing compared to everything else. The food from the menu is delicious, the spices are delicious, the bread is just fabulous.

Half an hour by taxi from the airport ($10-20), everything is old and shabby, but the room has everything you need and is quite clean. The kitchen is open and the food is delicious. You can swim in the sea, there is a sandy beach, planes fly overhead literally every minute. The hotel staff are trying very hard, they called a taxi early in the morning.

Very nice place to stay few days...very quiet and so close to sea....and close to airport too... the guy from here he booked taxi for me.
The staff is so kind and polite.
Food is so good and tasty...the salad was amazing and so nice flavour.❤️🤤
Definitely recommend this to everyone who want to spend nice and quiet time next to sea.
