Assos Kadirga Hotel

We went after looking at the photos, some reviews and the prices listed. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay, you may be satisfied. The beach is not crowded, the sea is very clean, there is a small pool for those who prefer a pool (the pool is made of sea water). There is only 1 road between it and the beach, so it is very close (pebble beach by the way). The rooms are not very small, they have wireless internet and the furniture is a bit old, but it works. The rooms also have nice balconies. The hotel is located close to touristic places such as the Temple of Athena and the Ancient Harbor.

I suggest you bring a plug-in tablet of insecticide with you because there are a lot of mosquitoes around and in the rooms (it seemed useless because the wire on the window was broken).

A buffet breakfast is served in the mornings. Lunch and dinner are considered extra. I saw in the comments that the service can be slow and it was really true. Although there was no crowd, the services were delayed. Unfortunately the prices are also expensive. As far as I understand, this is the environment in general. Still, if I'm paying that price for a hamburger, at least I want the bread not to be stale. I should also add that some of the information on the menu is not correct. Although the menu clearly states what is served with the meal, the plate came out stale. When we pointed out the shortcomings, they replied, "It says so, but we have been serving this way since the beginning of the season". They brought the extras later though.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and 3 days. I can say that we came by considering all the negative comments :) first of all, the friends who greeted us at the hotel reception were very kind. The rooms have a 90's feel. If you like nostalgia you'll love it :) the sheets, mattresses and bathroom were clean. But there were no towels. We did not mind this situation as we brought it with us. Service at dinner was incredibly slow. Even though the service staff tried their best, I think it was because of a glitch in the kitchen section that the food, appetizers, desserts, in short, everything was served very late. The morning breakfast was open buffet. There was everything that should be in a breakfast and it was fresh. But I would prefer the arugula to be without mud :) As for the pool.. It has a very small pool and it was very blurry. We've never been in. The existence of the pool was not very important to us when the galley bay already had the sea. We would like to thank the friends working in the restaurant department for keeping their smiling faces despite all the busyness, but my humble suggestion to the business is that a training can be given to the employees not to reflect the tensions among themselves to the guests.
