Datca Doris Hotel

Excellent hotel we always enjoy staying there. It is lovely to spend our vacations there. Staff was friendly and kind.

The hotel and it's staff are good in general. But they are over-friendly. The attention of the staff is friendly but in an amateur way. They do not show the professionallity. The hotel is asking you to make the whole payment while you are checking in which is disgusting. Yes, it is a family managed hotel but given the situation and room prices the hotel is expected to be more professionally managed. The staff does not generate the impression of having "hotel management" background. The customers are booking the sunbeds in advance at 6-7 AM but they do not use it and staff is not making a good management or restricting the unnecessary bookings. For example, there are some customers who are making the sunbeds reservation from the night. Hotel staff is always asking you if you need anything to drink or eat which feels like they want you to spend some money. Because we had been asked this questions every 10-15 mins. In general breakfast is good, the covid precautions are average. The sea is perfect. I don't recommend having dinner at the hotel because you can eat better food for less price in the datça center if you have a car. We tried the dinner first day and ordered chicken salad and pizza. Pizza arrived 45 mins after chicken salad. We asked the reason and they said they forgot. I ate a cold chicken salad while waiting for the pizza. I would not like to stay in this hotel second time unless they have huge discounts. For me the hotel has a bad money/performance rate. It may seem a cheap hotel in terms of euros but it is not when you compare it's rates with other hotels.
