Yel Holiday Resort

Yel hotel has been an amazing experience. All the staff were amazing and so helpful and happy. Entertainment throughout the week was amazing, the staff really got to know you and it made it feel so homely. The bar and restaurant staff were absolutely amazing, Ishmael and Abu were absolutely incredible. They helped with anything we needed at any time. I cannot wait to go back there already.

Gizmo and Gadget were first class entertainers, made the holiday go with a swing.Dining room offered a good variation of food and the outdoor snacks also like the dining room gave excellent well prepared tasty food.Nice clean friendly hotel but rooms could do with updating.Rooms kept nice and clean by the jolly friendly cleaning ladies.This was our third visit and undoubtdly will not be our last.
ps The evening entertainment was varied to a good standard.

If management reads my review so please work on the WiFi connection because it's weak at times. Other than that, all fantastic 👏 👌 👍

What a lovely time we had the reception staff were so helpful and spoke very good English the rooms are very clean maid came in every day changed the towels everyday too the pool was very clean entertainment guys were great so so funny the young lads behind the bar were amazing food choice could be better but always found something to eat the only thing we can have a moan about is that when we arrived at 11pm there was no food or drink for us till the morning !the bar below the hotel is just great made us so welcome highly recommend going down to have a drink with them 🍻

Apo's service was really good and the only thing we were satisfied with at the hotel was that the staff was fun and the cocktails were really delicious. We liked this customer service and we are thinking of coming again , very soon !

This place is a great place to stay if you are on a bit of a budget. Compared to other hotels in the area the price is much better. The food was good it’s not a Ultra All Inclusive hotel so you can’t compare it to that. We never went hungry as they are always serving food through out the day. The staff is what makes this hotel. We were given two rooms by the pool for our family which were nice. The staff are very accommodating and always have a smile on their face to help you. Samet at the bar spoke very well English and was always there to help. Housekeeping always made sure our room was clean and fully stocked with shampoo and fresh towels. The front desk let us use a room to shower after we checked out since our flight was at 10 at night. The people in the reviews complaining about very small problems are expecting a five star resort at the price they paid. I have stayed at 5 star resorts which looked great but did not have the employees customer service that this hotel had. The food was good but mostly meat and chicken not just seafood. The first night we were there it was great we had grilled fish for dinner but did not have it for the other 4 nights we were there. I think adding a bit more seafood would be nice. Also it’s very sad to see how the Turkish people who stay at this resort as guests waste so much food. They go and get 5 plates from the buffet and only eat two. So much food gets wasted why not go get plate by plate so you don’t waste any food. Overall a great stay and great location with nice Mountain View’s. I will definitely come back with our family.

We stayed at the Yel Hotel Resort 28th September to 13 Oct this year 2019.

The Resort is very pretty as all the paths to the blocks have vibrant, colourful flowers with strong, delightful aromas. The pool is clean and adequate. As we went at the end of the season we had no problems with sunbeds etc. I cant speak for the rest of the season.

Our room was spacious and clean. The shower was powerful. The towels were changed as desired. Soap and toilet rolls replenished to satisfaction.

All the staff were very nice. The manager seemed to be very relaxed and dealing with his staff discretely and respectfully (which impressed me as in the past I have witnessed supervisors to be abrupt and rude which upset me).

The food was what you expect on a holiday, a bit lukewarm (shame) but so tasty you just cant resist trying more than you need to and so put weight on! The cold dishes are kept covered with cling film as well as the baby chairs tables which was very nice to see (flies and wasps are inevitable). Drinks were served in glasses at night (not plastic) which was a nice touch.

The resort has about a dozen resident cats which for me was heaven but if you don't like cats go somewhere else as they deserve to be spoilt too for their holiday, not told off or kicked. One slept on my lap a few evenings, purring away and that made my holiday.

The entertainment was the only thing that put a dampener on my usual holiday excitement.
The daytime activities were great (water volleyball, darts, rifle shooting, archery) but in the evening apart from the short shows and karaoke (which I usually hate but actually found really fun there) there was no atmosphere. The music all day and night was repetitive and so last century! It disappointed me as there are so many thousands of tunes out there, there is no need for repetition over a week or two.
Personally I was expecting more local Turkish music (at least at night) for dancing as that is why we visit the country to embrace their culture and fun. I only managed to dance with the Turks twice and only for at most 10 mins, then back to 1900's British or US boring old music and everybody back to their seats.

As we and some others only realised on their last day about some of the treats there, please note:

We had a great time there really. I would recommend the hotel. I hope they improve the music for a better atmosphere that is all. Everything else - GREAT

Favourite hotel a beautifully kept place. Gardens are gorgeous. Management and staff wonderful..

Amazing hotel. Amazing staff and manager. Make you feel so welcome and will do anything to make your stay as good as they can. When we stayed the entertainment staff were amazing Bulut, Gaye and Serkan. Waiting staff, chefs and bar staff were amazing too. Had such a great time we will be back soon.

The food is excellent, a nice mix of Turkish and Western food on offer. Mostly buffet style, chefs are on hand to prepare dishes fresh.

The rooms are modest, but very comfortable, with plenty of easy to reach power sockets to charge phones etc. The rooms are cleaned and tidied daily.

A crew of people are employed to provide entertainment in the form of shows in the evening, and activities such as water volley ball, aqua aerobics, darts and snooker throughout the day.

It is possible to venture out further afield through excursions booked via your travel agent representative, or self guided using the local public transport which is very inexpensive. A taxi will collect and drop at the hotel entrance, or if you opt to use the bus, there is a stop about 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

The hotel's swimming pool is beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean with plenty of sun loungers. A water slide is open during certain parts of the day to keep the kids amused.

The ONLY negative feedback I have is the lack of refreshments on offer to guests arriving from the airport after the all inclusive hours have closed. At the very least a sandwich should be available. We missed dinner the first evening because our flight was late departing the UK, but also because the transfer coach has to wait for at least an hour for passengers who are delayed in the airport (Visa's, lost luggage etc), so it wasn't the hotels fault we were late for dinner, but I doubt we were their first late arrivals. I'm sure the travel agent guides could ring ahead and pre-order food if necessary.
