Bof Hotels Uludag Ski & Luxury Resort

Terribly disappointed by this hotel. I cried for hours after checking in and viewing the actual hotel (3 hours commute from Istanbul) having realised what a mistake this was. Theres rarely enough snow to ski properly and the slopes arent a good terrain for intermediate or advanced skiing. The ski equipment is poor quality too. If you are a tourist (non-Turkish), used to European ski resorts and looking for an all-inclusive international resort, this is NOT remotely for you. I have never felt so bad about a place in my life. Flying 12 hours, transfering 3 hours to the place and another 3 back! We lost a terrible amount of time and money, thinking it might be a comparable ski destination to the French Alps. Were we wrong! I sit here after a month of being offered 'a partial refund' AND RECEIVING NOTHING (I have videos, receipts and photo's to prove it and will post it all online). ABSOLUTE LIARS. I cried in the lobby and no one cared. Really surprised by the bad attitude of both the reception and management we experienced here. We then decided it was so bad that we would leave the next morning, going all the way back to Istanbul, no chance of a ski holiday we dreamt of. We have called and messaged so many times about the 'partial' refund and we keep being given a story (nothing received!). It was them that refused to let us cancel and claimed they need to charge us a 15-20% commission for our entire stay. The reservation agent has messed us around for months. There's no compassion for foreigners or tourists here (so different to Istanbul which we love). We had so many problems with this hotel, its probably the worst hotel I have stayed in my life. When we arrived the hotel room was over 30 degrees hot. It was so unbearable and could not be switched off. They told us to open the windows, which we tried but the windows are screwed shut. We managed to get them open with help of the maintenance team and their drill (imagine the ridiculousness of screwing windows closed) and still the heating could not go down(how is this even possible?). We couldn't sleep at all with the heat and that just made everything worse. The ambiance and hotel is dated and its not suffice for International standards. TERRIBLE BATHROOMS THAT ARE EXTREMELY SMALL AND OLD. DONT TRUST THESE OTHER FAKE POSITIVE REVIEWS (they are bots and fake accounts with 1 or 2 reviews). Unless you are an absolute beginner and just want to learn on small slopes, the slopes are terrible for intermediate and advanced, very little snow and you should not ski here. There are no activities at this hotel outside of mealtimes and the pool area (reserved only for ladies at some times) - keep in mind the skiing is an absolute risk here. There's a games room where they charge excessive amounts, and no one used. I get the feeling that this hotels management are severely out of touch with international standards and customer service.

What a disgusting service!

We called 10 hr before booking and Customer Care “ Zeynep “ informed us that there are a lot of snow and we won’t have any issues doing the sport! However, when we arrived the hotel ski resort was closed and they told us to go to 1.place and its also closed!

Paid for 2 days 600 euros literally for nothing, they do not refund as well!

Rooms are very small and there is no one to help when needed.

Been calling them non stop the answer I got is “ managers are on the meeting and we will get back to you once the meeting is done” typical Turkish Lie!

Highly NOT RECOMMENDED!
