Our stay at this resort in Zanzibar was absolutely exceptional. What impressed us most was the truly personal approach from the entire team. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family—welcoming us, anticipating our needs, and offering thoughtful touches throughout our stay. The team always checked in to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Every interaction felt warm, genuine, and full of positive energy. The beautiful setting, stunning beach, and delicious food made the stay unforgettable, but it was the personal attention and sincere hospitality that set this resort apart from any other place we’ve visited. We recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone traveling to Zanzibar.

We spent the most relaxing 4 nights here after our safari. From the moment we arrived, Ana, and the rest of her staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Our Beach Bungalow was spacious, extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. And so quiet - it was just the end to our holiday that we needed. The food was delicious and plentiful. The dinner menu each evening was a set four courses (set menu's seemed to be the norm in most of the hotels we stayed in on our trip), but you could change any part of that if it wasn't to your liking with no problem. Will we be recommending this hotel to our friends? Absolutely! Thank you to Ana the the team for a wonderful stay.

This is the resort that we chose to relax at after a week of safari and I am so glad that we did! This resort has everything--a heated pool, a beautiful beach, air conditioned rooms (a plus after not having any at the safari lodges), comfy bed, four course delicious dinners, tasty cocktails, on-site massage and of course, a lovely staff of people. Anna, the Front Desk Manager, is as helpful as she is friendly! She booked me a massage and helped us make change for our large bills. We booked the oceanfront deluxe room and if your budget allows it, I highly recommend it! Steps from the beach and a lovely wrap-around porch with two sitting areas and only a few more steps to the pool. The only downside is that the wifi is spotty but I don't think this is a fault of the resort. I also purchased a Holafly eSim and the wifi from this was also spotty so I think it is Zanzibar issue and no fault of the hotel. We had a fabulous time here and if ever in Zanzibar again, we will definitely be staying at this resort again!

From the moment we arrived at this gorgeous resort, we were treated with the utmost kindness and every single staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay one of the best we have had anywhere. The property manager, Ana, showed a kindness and desire to make our stay the best it could be more than anywhere else we have traveled. I cannot say enough kind things about her and the staff at this resort. The rooms are beautiful, the grounds are clean and well-kept, and the food is outstanding! We had the 4-course dinner every night of our stay and I will never forget how great our entire experience was.

This is a small but wonderful hotel. The staff are very attentive. The menu is very fishy but for guests like me that do not eat fish this can be substituted. The rooms are all facing the ocean, spacious and clean.

A comfy stay by a very beautiful beach. The room is spacious and has a lovely porch where you can relax with a sea view without leaving the room. The staff were super friendly and even taught us some Swahili expressions, and they prepared a special dinner on the beach for our honeymoon. What I liked the most is that it never feels crowded, and the staff is always checking the beach to ensure everything is perfect.

We were a family of 5 ( 3 daughters 19-23-29) arriving in Zanzibar following a 7 day Safari. We didn't quite know what to expect when arriving at Next Paradise following a 60 minute drive from the airport. We arrived mid afternoon knowing we had a three bedroomed Villa reserved (Villa Marina) with half board for 6 nights but little else. Overall we were very impressed with the whole place, villa virtually on the beach, very clean, great views and very friendly and attentive service from the whole staff. Stuart and his wife ran the place and were great, nothing was to much for them, anything from fixing transport to copying and scanning a couple of urgent documents we needed to send by e-mail. Food was excellent and was the best of all the places we stayed during the holiday. Good choice every evening of 4 courses with an Italian bias. Important to realise that with the half board package all drinks were extra and therefore costs can accumulate, likewise cost of trips from the hotel are expensive. Because of the closeness of the villa to the public beach we had a question over security. However there was no issue, you get approached by the beach boys selling trips but not enough to worry and the Masai guard the perimeter of the hotel. Recognise there aren't a great variety of activities to do on site, but if you want a relaxing few days in the sun following safari then Next Paradise is an ideal location.
