TUI Blue Bahari Zanzibar

The facilities are very good, the service staff is very friendly, and the beach is beautiful

The room was very clean and had a balcony, which was very convenient for drying swimwear. The hotel was very large. We stayed near the front desk, and it was a long walk to the restaurant and the beach. The staff were very friendly. The hotel included two meals, and we stayed for three nights, so we went to a restaurant for dinner every night. The food was generally good, and the barbecue and pasta pizza were delicious. They were all European and American guests, and Asian faces were rare.

Great hotel, complete facilities, good service, and the sea in front of the hotel is also beautiful. The breakfast and dinner package is very cost-effective, and there are three free restaurants to choose from. There are only hotels nearby, not many restaurants.

The three meals were very good, the pool was beautiful, the beach and the sea were perfect. The band performances by the pool at night were very high quality and the atmosphere was great. On Saturdays, we caught up with the beach dinner and the Masai show. The room was large, the waiters were friendly and the service was good

Tui Blue Bahari is 5*+

There is space, good food, great private beaches, 5 restaurants, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere.

There were more sunbeds than guests when we stayed and towels are available poolside.

There are bars in the garden, by the beach and at the pool, which are all manned with waiters and bar staff who are happy and efficient.

The hotel has security and a private beach and the local tour sellers wait at the beach for you to engage.

If you walk straight into the sea from the resort you'll find starfish, urchins and Dory fish.

The room door we had wouldn't lock with a firm push and a couple times after the cleaners had been it was unlocked.

Overall though 9.5/10

I'd recommend for any special occasion, or for those who want to safari in Tanzania, or swim with dolphins in Mnemba.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Tui Blue Bahari Hotel! Our whole experience was faultless. The staff were very friendly and helpful…they deserve to be complimented ( unfortunately too many names to mention each individually). The facility is very clean and large and beautiful with many options. Generally the food and drink quality is very good and there are food and drink options with additional payment if you want something more than the base.

The crowd in the resort was mostly European and although it is very kid friendly it was not chaotic at all.

We had a junior sweet and it was really good with a great view and a balcony - the only thing that could have been nice to have would be snacks in the mini bar and more toiletries (only had shampoo, shower gel, liquid hand soap and one shower cap)

I asked for a couple of shower caps after I had used the existing one which was never provided - and I did miss having a solid soap, and other toiletries.

The staff were very nice but service was pretty slow specially in the beach lounges and around the pool with the bar drinks/ service

The location of this resort is in an area where there is very low tide during the days and you have to walk a long distance to get to the water.
