Royal Inn Beach Hutchinson Island

If you are looking for a 5 star experience this is not the place for you. However if you're looking for a comfortable bed to sleep in with very nice staff and in a great location this is what you're looking for. I stayed 3 nights. I wish I had stayed longer. The bed was so comfortable I slept like a dream. I woke up without any aches and pains and totally refreshed. That's no exaggeration. It's a little rough around the edges but it was clean. I travel with cleaning wipes. When I used them they came up clean.
I've read some of the other reviews about metal chairs having rust or been musty. Those are things you just deal with being close to the water.
The 2 ladies that checked me in on my first night were awesome. I believe she was new but she was so friendly. I believe the other one is in the housekeeping. They were both so nice and so easy to talk to. They are what sold me on the place and why I chose to stay. The elevator was having trouble so they helped me carry my belongings upstairs. They offered me cold water. And even went out of their way to give me some extra ice and towel for my sore knee. I wish I had seen them later in my stay to thank them again.
I loved waking up to the sunrise.
I will absolutely stay here again!!

Budget to frills hotel. We've started here often since we really like the location and enjoy that they are dof friendly. Although I think the dog deposit should be refundable or not so high especially if your dog doesn't make a mess or shed that bad.
The location is perfect it's right near the jetty there's a lot of restaurants and bars with fishing and swimming nearby. The rooms are a little bit dated and could use some updating but overall it's a decent place to stay for the price.

This is an older hotel and the exterior is a little rough, but I really enjoyed my stay here.
My room was extremely clean and comfortable and the people here were very friendly.
You're NEVER going to find a better price this close to the beach.

Really a great find for the price. I don't know why anyone would complain about this hotel or say anything bad about it. It is RIGHT across the street from the beach and you are paying under $100 for a DIRECT oceanview. Really nice rooms, pretty, clean, pleasant. One of real Florida's gems. Nice people, conscientious staff, all American English speaking. Gotta say it again--really a find. Nice rooms, even nicer people, helpful, happy. It's unusual to find a place like this these days.

Location, location, location. That's why you stay here--to be close to beach. The staff is very friendly. The rooms have no frills but were clean and comfortable enough for a one night stay. Avoid the disability equipped room unless you need it--the extra accommodations mean less closet space and one less chair on balcony. Glad it is pet friendly. Otherwise, nothing to rave about but also no significant complaints.
