Courtyard by Marriott Harrisburg Hershey

I used to travel alot for work and often stayed at Courtyard. This was by far the nicest one I've stayed in ever! Front Desk staff was always friendly and personable regardless of time of day. Room was very clean - not one issue. I have a request on my Marriott Profile for a high floor away from elevators and vending. They honored the request and I'm glad as they do have ice machines across from the elevators. Very quiet at night and I went down to the lobby store one night and there were quite a few people enjoying their evening but until the elevator opened on the first floor, you heard nothing. I chose this hotel for it's close proximity to Hershey and in comparison it was a true bargain. Hershey is 15 minutes away and this beats spending $400 and up a night for the two nights we were there. Now I enjoy resorts and nice hotels but did not see the need and didn't want to spend 1,000 for a room we'd only sleep in. I'd stay at this Courtyard if we're ever over this way again.

I want to shout out two women who have been absolutely fantastic for the last couple of months with helping me plan my wedding block of rooms and anything I need relative to that (including linking me with a great shuttle service)--Lindsi and Jazmin. Both of these women have been extremely kind, helpful, and responsive to any of my questions or concerns. They made the process so easy and smooth for me and I'm truly grateful!!

Our brief stay at the Courtyard Harrisburg Hershey was excellent. The inside of the property feels updated and well kept, with our room being recently renovated and very clean. Andrea, Sonya, and Bryan at the front desk were all so warm and friendly and really made us feel welcome.

The hotel is located conveniently right off the freeway making for an easy 15 minute trip to Hersheypark, which was the main reason for our visit. However, once in the hotel/room, we didn’t hear any freeway noise at all. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Hershey!

The fitness room is good. I see Life Fitness equipment which is the more expensive brand, and what I prefer. For the room they get 3. The room itself was up to the standard that is Marriott. The cleanliness didn’t impress me but it was acceptable, as I slept the night there and my allergies didn’t go nuts. Still, for the price I shouldn’t see dust or hairs, and I don’t care if the last guest tipped or not, because I decide mine on what I see, and if I am impressed finding a 20 or 50 on the desk is common.
The restaurant was decent. They used real maple syrup with the french toast which did impress me.

Our room was a bit small but nicely furnished and clean. Rooms were quiet, even though the hotel was well-booked (we dhared our floor with aarge wedding block). Beds were a little firmer than our typical preference. Overall a pleasant stay.

There were no cookies in the main lobby. This brought my vacation to a disturbing hault I have still yet to recover from. The lack of cookies made my family sad and was the cause of a heated argument. This needs to change. There needs to be cookies for all to enjoy to ensure world happiness. Would be a five star for sure if they had cookies.

This place is any excellent hotel for starters. The location is in the middle of everything, the rooms were stylish and comfortable too. If I had one negative thing to say about this place, it would be the parking. Parking was so packed, we had to park out back off the hotel and walk a far distance.

A solid place to stay. Nothing particularly special, they just built a new building in Hershey. This one is 15-20 minutes away. For that though you save money, get a nice clean room and a glorious bed. I just went to relax a minute and was out cold for the night. It's a cool place and the bistro staff were also great when we needed a quick dinner.
